The manhunt for fugitive Joseph Jakubowski has moved into Waukesha County, where a letter purporting to be from Jakubowski has threatened violence against Sussex churches on Easter Sunday.
The Waukesha County Sheriff's Department is investigating the threat, which came through the U.S. Postal Service, according to a news release from the sheriff's department.
Jakubowski is being sought on a number of charges and threats of violence in Rock County.
The written threat targeting unspecified churches in the Sussex area, threatening violence on Easter Sunday.
The sheriff's department has been unable so far to substantiate the threat or its author, the news release said. In the meantime, authorities are asking Waukesha County residents to be vigilant and report any suspicious activity.
