You may recall the tragic death of former Jet and Raven TE Konrad Reuland in December from a brain aneurysm. Well now word comes out that his heart was transplanted into legendary hall of famer Rod Carew. What an amazing story. Link - ( New Window )
Hey guys, if you haven't already done so, sign up to be an organ donor. My family has been touched by this as so many others have. The opportunity to literally save a life is not one we are often given. But we can all do this. Don't worry about your medical history or age. Those questions can all be handled "when the time comes." In the meantime, make the offer. It's quick, painless and free. You can do it all at organdonor.gov Thanks.

I do not want to be put into the ground with all the bugs, worms, etc. and I don't want to be cooked right after either, so the instructions are to donate my body to a Medical School where I know they treat bodies with respect..
The bat was like a magic wand in the hands of Rodney Carew!
The guy could drag bunt too, that is a lost art nowadays!
As for the previous poster, I agree about being an organ donor, I have been doing it for years.
