Well here we are comrades. Game 2. Up 1-0. Huge opportunity for the squad following a nice win on Wednesday.
Biggest game of the year.
Let me repeat that.
Biggest game of the year.
We simply cannot allow the whiners from Montreal tie the series up at one. Cannot. Allow. It. They're going to be in full desperation mode tonight skating like hell, hitting everything that moves, and of course crying, bitching and moaning to the refs. It wouldn't be a game against the Canadiens if their players, coaches and fans weren't crying about something. Weather the storm, stay composed, and don't get sucked into the CONNERIE that is certain to come.
We need a big game from everyone here tonight. You know who you are. And you know what to do.
Biggest game of the year.
Biggest. Game. Of. The. Year.
LGR.
Having to beat the refs and the Canadiens in Montreal goes back way before Bettman
MTL 20 PIMs
NYR 8 PIMs
sure seemed like a lot of Rangers fans with their vaginas exposed in that last thread, I expect nothing less in tonight's thread.

is that cock sucker Shaw not called for a penalty on that
Stufftherun : 4/12/2017 7:39 pm : link : reply
to call the obvious penalties it's going to be reduced to a scrum all night long.

leading the charge. Let's just hope we don't have to put up with interference calls in favor of tackles!

of cheapshot cunts, eh?
that is just a small sample, and you hypocrites have the stones to call anyone else on the planet whiny?
there was one great post in that entire thread and i mixed it in with the whiny posts.
It is actually pretty funny. But even you would admit that there were a ton of non-calls that favored the Habs.

I think there were non-calls both ways and if I gave a shit about non-calls in hockey the two hits from behind committed by the Rangers AND the blatant knee on knee leg trip that wasn't called would be a whole hell of a lot worse than the missed clutching and grabbing that happens in every game. Those are the plays the league is cracking down on from a player safety perspective.
I thought it was a fairly officiated game. It was not decided by the refs, and the PIM total of 20 to 8 should leave no Rangers fan whining about anything.
And I seriously just created that right before I posted it.
and I think you all know it's in good fun.
Nothing like playoff hockey and like many of you, my entire family is all Rangers and Yankees fans, so it's not often I get to trash talk. Only this really isn't the year for it (so far).
You got a Canadiens fan message board? Maybe head there if you're gonna get all pissy about something literally all fan groups do. Unless it's all in French.
Either way, to quote the great Torts, "Shut your yap."

I didn't save anything, I went to "my threads" to see threads I posted on and found the game from Wednesday and scanned for some comments I wanted to share to emphasize my point.
It took about 3 minutes, if that's pathetic, then yes I'm guilty. I've spent more time on worse things.
I don't want or expect rationality, but it doesn't mean I can't call out the irrational behavior.
and 2 of the Rangers penalties were too. Still makes it 8 - 6.
Again though I don't give a shit about non-called penalties for the most part. There was nothing done by the Canadiens that was dangerous, reckless, or risking injury that wasn't called.
and lay off Markov. The guy is 38 years old. When you're 38 and still playing 1st line D in the NHL you are allowed certain transgressions. Nash didn't seem to mind (lol).
Plus, we're right anyway!

Love Lavy. His niece played on my daughters team. Wish he coahed the Habs.
His brother-in-law invited us to go to the all-star game when it was n NSH, but I couldn't go, sounded like a fun time.
Oh, and I do enjoy B's Blueshirt Call to Arms before each game. 15 wins to go. LGR indeed.

This must be like fantasy camp for you.
Staal and Holden I thought were both pretty brutal and I did not think Smith played as well as most of you, thought he had a decent game, not great.
Skjei was good, needs to get more involved offensively. I like his offensive game, he's somewhat tentative still and I don't blame him.
Loser mentality. No one who watched that game other than Rangers fans felt Montreal got any favorable treatment from the refs. If anything, unbiased people would have to say the opposite.
A faceoff violation on a PP faceoff, LOL. Sure those Canadian refs are so going out of their way to not call shit on Montreal I can't stand it. How can the Rangers win with the refs so biased? Boo-hoo.
I don't care if you think it or not. You are entitled to your opinion, but you're wrong.
And history has zero to do with Wednesday night.
Fuck the refs in the Kings series, though.
Not sure they can come out any better than that..Of course, we need another big effort from Hank
Habs are a bunch

I stand by my post. Very chippie play in front of Hank and around the net. Gallagher is close to Kenny Linesman in cheapshottery and smugness. And that is pretty low.

I have no issue with your opinion, I needed another quote to beef up my post.
Like I said, Gallagher is a player you like when he's on your team, I'd hate him too if I weren't a Habs fan.
He definitely plays with an edge and as a small player he's one of many in that mold and probably feels he has to play that way to succeed. I think it does take away from his offense a little, since I do think he's a skilled player, but he's involved in every scrum.
Smart, surround Galchenyuk with two skill-less players to force him to lose his last shred of confidence as well as make him pretty useless.
Might as well not offer him a contract after the season if Julien is still the coach.

Exactly - agree with you...
Because I picture this when I'd read it:

It'd be like putting me on a line with you and Dav, smh.
Dale Rolfe kind of engulfed forwards, like an octopus, best part of his game.
LGR Can Hank give us another like Wed?
Why is that not goalie interference on Gallagher?
Refs never favor Montreal in Montreal.
