Well here we are comrades. Game 2. Up 1-0. Huge opportunity for the squad following a nice win on Wednesday.
Biggest game of the year.
Let me repeat that.
Biggest game of the year.
We simply cannot allow the whiners from Montreal tie the series up at one. Cannot. Allow. It. They're going to be in full desperation mode tonight skating like hell, hitting everything that moves, and of course crying, bitching and moaning to the refs. It wouldn't be a game against the Canadiens if their players, coaches and fans weren't crying about something. Weather the storm, stay composed, and don't get sucked into the CONNERIE that is certain to come.
We need a big game from everyone here tonight. You know who you are. And you know what to do.
Biggest game of the year.
Biggest. Game. Of. The. Year.
LGR.
Big PP. A goal here would be huge
that was vicious I'm surprised Miller is still alive. Radulov would have been ejected, but you know..Montreal.

With that high stick. Rangers PP

You're legitimately insane if you don't think there is a bias for Montreal at home.
Each of their penalties was 100% legit.

You are insane if you think there is a coordinated effort by anyone to give Montreal an advantage at home or anywhere.
Beyond insane, you just buy into old school paranoia.
Montreal's penalties were fine so far, I thought the interference call was weak, but I don't have any problem with it. I think this has been a fairly officiated game.
I thought the Rangers penalties were fine too. In fact the Rangers got away with a couple just like Montreal has. It all evens out IMO.
But it's the incessant bitching about it. In your pre-game poems you talk about whiny fans. Holy fuck these threads are way worse than any hockey fans I have heard, at the Bell Center, the old Forum, Boston Garden, or even in Washington. THE WORST.
You should be proud of yourselves. The irony is thick.
The refs are historically intimidated in Montreal. It's not a conspiracy as far as we can tell. It's human fallibility exacerbated by a raucous home crowd. Doesn't mean that it doesn't exist - because it certainly does. And the Rangers aren't the only victim.

If you're chalking it up to human nature then I can buy that, nothing you can do about it. I haven't seen it in this series.
Like Kind... - ( New Window )
Can't agree on that. Zucc committed interference there. Legit penalty
Fans having strong reactions to officiating decisions in real time is a reality. When you come to a place where 99% of the fans are for one side, it's going to feel amplified.
Call it whining when people are carrying on about the same calls a day later or blaming losses on the refs.
"Plekanec and Pacioretty have been awful in the playoffs for years now... Both of them should be ashamed, pathetic trash."
"Looks so easy for rangers and so hard for habs"
"All started after Weber went all stupid. Others would be ripped for it"
GOOD STUFF over there!!
I know. I probably looked like a cartoon character with steam coming out of my ears
I don't know what he was thinking
I'm fine with it. You can't risk giving up an odd man rush at this stage.
Awful, awful, awful
Er, behind.
