2. Power Play - Same as #1
3. Penalty Kill - Not bad through 2 games, fell apart in game 3
4. Henrik - Clearly he has not been an issue
5. Defensive depth - This has been a major issue. McDonagh, Girardi, and Smith have been good. I would like to see Staal come out for Clendening but there is no chance of that happening.
The troubling part to me is that many of these issues date back to last year and have not gotten better. Carey Price is the best goalie in the league and the Rangers are making it exceptionally easy on him. I think the Rangers are playing too much into Montreal's physical game. I think they need to sit Glass (despite him being one of their best forwards through 3 games) for Buchnevich, just to add some scoring depth. Stepan, Kreider, Zibanejad, Hayes, Miller have all been invisible.
I think they will come out and play much better tonight, but if they have a few good scoring chances thwarted by Price or give up a goal early, the Garden is not going to be a pleasant place.
