Not much movement in RB market, but NYG are among teams keeping close tabs on Peterson and Blount seeing if their $$ comes down before draft Link - ( New Window )
in the league is "keeping tabs" on these two guys. Why wouldn't they? Silliness from the media again trying to get clicks and retwatted again or whatever.
Blount is interesting because he wouldn't take away from Perkins carries like AP would. My biggest beef last year was keeping the plodding Jennings in so much but if they only give 5-7 carries a game to Blount i'm good with it.
Nothing new here. So a team with a question mark at RB that got rid of their previous starter is keeping tabs on the free agent RB market? What a piece of information, I cannot believe he knows that.
and I'm a big fan of AP (on the field). Unless they are planning to make some major offensive changes scheme-wise, he seems like an awful fit (then again, so does Ellison). He's much better with the QB under center, can't catch, and is poor in pass protection (I guess he fits in with the Giants OL there...).
I guess, maybe they plan to use more 2 TE sets with Eli under center. Play action with AP and Beckham would be deadly though. Would also be the first time in a while that AP didn't have to face 8+ man fronts on nearly every down.

He has met with Saints and Pats I believe.
