Dave Te-to those with Podcasts

nflscouting : 4:41 pm
I get off the road tomorrow & will try to arrange with BBI to do a podcast, but several other folks here messaged me that they had podcasts also. I would be willing to go on, if needed, but only those wanting to talk, contact me at
scoutingservices@aol.com and we can try to arrange something, thanks.
Please readers, do not email me there- it is only for the podcasts. BBI has a thread for any questions you might like me to answer

Look forward to hearing the podcasts when they come about. The official thread of yours was removed as a sticky so we need to either recreate one or focus questions here. That being said, I'm curious you believe to be the giants top 5 areas of need they must address this draft?

Primary need is obvious - a pass rush demon, whether off the edge or at strong-side backer. The two ideal fits are T.J. Watt & Tyus Bowser, but the Lions are zeroing in on Watt & Dallas in in talks trying to get Tennessee's second pick in round one to pluck Bowser.

Left tackle is the next area that needs to be addressed. If Lamp slides to them in the first, especially if Watt & Bowser are gone, I have no qualms in taking him & putting him at LOT. Hey, the way Flowers plays there, it can't get any worse.

I stick to my guns that their average (at best) tight end unit needs an upgrade, but with the two needs above occupying Day 1/2 events (doubt Shaheen is there in 2)they could be enticed into taking Everett in the third round, but Jonnu Smith, Saubert & Roberts will still be there in 4 to go with one then.

Perkins offered value last year, but the rest of the backs are complimentary types & I'm not one to go to war with Perkins as my main ball carrier. Either one of the Williams Boys from Utah (Jamaal-BYU, Joe-Utah) are acceptable Day three finds, but I really like the kid I worked out this week, Brian Hill-Wyoming. Free agent wise, UNC's Elijah Hood is a big back that they can sign off the street.

I'm more concerned about the OL & think the OGs are a mediocre bunch. My guy is Asiata, but the former third round guy could be heading fast in round 2

Just an FYI, as much as I know, I know as much less about computers. My laptop on the road is so old, it qualified for an AARP card. I let my techs deal with the "tech stuff." Don't laugh, until 2008, my assistant had to take info from my Commodore 128 (hey, I did upgrade from 64), scan it & then send it out to teams.
Easier life now, as I just dump info on the league TWIX system. Facebook? Something I do when I read a magazine (face looking at book), but the late wife did that fancy pants stuff for me & I have not even looked at my page there since she died. Figured if I won the Publishers Clearing House that they'd just come & knock on my door any way!
Thank you sir!

Really with all due respect your work especially on this site is good. Same with Sy'56. Can't say it enough.

No need to make apologies for being a semi-Luddite when it comes to technology. Wear it like a badge of honor. For example, I have not used an ATM since 1993. I had a MAC card then, and it was the last time. My bank forced a "debit card" on me to access account information when I go to the bank. I mandated to them to put a limit of $1 on it so if I ever lose it (and my PIN is compromised), the recipient can only get a $1.
