I've been watching their playoff games and would like to make a few points
1. What a fabulous head coach Jason Kidd is
2. They have absolutely hit home runs in their last 4 out of 5 drafts
Giannis
Thon Maker
Malcom Brogdan
Jabari Parker. Even though he's been injured
3. Great team basketball they play with long athletic strong players

This will be a team to reckon with for years to come

I went to college with Marc Lasry in 1979-1981 and was friends with him
Very happy for his basketball success
They played the Barney theme song when Toronto was being introduced.

Just savage haha
The Bucks and Sixers will be really good

in 2-3 years if the Sixers plan pans out (Embiid/Simmons are healthy)
They are scary good.

That team is all arms and legs - I hope the Knicks follow suit and target guys like Ntilikina, Isaac and Anunoby (if we get another first rounder).
Let's wait for the Sixers to do something/stay healthy

before we crown their asses.

Thon Maker is just a scary player because he's barely scratched the surface yet with all of his ability.

I picked GA with the 11th pick in my fantasy basketball money league and his day in day out stat lines every single game were incredible. His athletic ability appears to be about as prime as a human being possibly could be. He's not the best offensive player, but his overall game and impact are closely becoming second to none.
More proof about team building

Bucks: built over many drafts, minimal UFA.
Warriors: built through the draft and smaller bore acquisitions. Then Durant this year, but they were already champions.
Spurs: almost never make a win-now move.
Rockets: slow burn talent acquisition
it's amazing to me

how far defenders play off of Giannis, yet he's still able to drive to the rack at will because he's so long. I've seen Giannis make types of dunks this year that I've never seen anyone else make.

253 - DeAndre
235 - Gobert
199 - Dwight
194 - Giannis
163 - Capela
163 - Whiteside

Those are the top 5 dunkers in the NBA this year, and their totals. Notice how the list is made up of PnR Bigs who catch lobs + Giannis who is just a freak.

This is the top 10 for just perimeter players...

194 - Giannis
145 - LeBron (Career high dunk total for reference)

107 - Durant
99 - Aaron Gordon
92 - Jabari (in 51 games! A damn shame he's hurt again)

77 - Wiggins
76 - Iggy (still a great athlete)
69 - Harkless
68 - Hawyward (he has turned into a tank)
67 - Kawhi

If Giannis ever develops a jumper, he would be unstoppable. And hopefully Parker comes back just as athletic, because he was putting people on posters this year. If these 2 guys can stay healthy and develop together, there's the potential for them to be a nightmare smallball frontcourt that dominates the East once LeBron finally declines.
Giannis

is such a terrible shooter from long range that if he fixes that, god help people trying to defend him.

I think he may have the longest strides by any person I've ever seen, outside of clips of Wilt.

He's so long that if he has daylight, he is able to just rise up above everyone and throw it down. It makes him so dangerous.
Only knock on the Bucks really is

they hand out contracts to any marginal role players they fear on losing out on. Hasn't really inhibited their abilities to do what they want to. They've accepted that they aren't going to land major FAs and instead take high upside players in the draft.

Remains to be seen how Jabari's career pans out but the Bucks will be the rare team that was built without high picks in the lottery (GF, Maker) and 2nd rounders (Brogdon, Middleton).
