buying vinyl records .I wish I kept all my records from the 80's and early 1990 .I had first pressings of all the original metal and hip hop albums but I sold them all to a DJ friend of mine and his brother. The only records I have now is the original kiss albums from the 70's and the Beastie boys Licensed to Ill 30th anniversary album that came out in October
I'll be out hunting

for anything good. Recently bought a record cleaning machine and Im friggin amazed at what it does. Damn near every album sounds mint and QUIET! I always took good care of my albums, but some of them I bought almost 50 yrs. ago and played quite a bit. One good scrub on the VPI, vacuum and they are like new and sound great. Strongly suggest if you are into vinyl to try to get some kind of wet cleaning regiment into your life. Its fast and easy , and I swear you havent heard your vinyl till youve heard it clean.

I'm augmenting with the Sun Ra and Monk from the other list. That'd be some haul. That's WFMU record fair level haul.

BTW, the WFMU record fair is next week. It's normally really solid.
Britt, here ya go. Free ship, no tax

Thanks! I'm going to have to upgrade my system first, before I can justify the price for that cleaner, but that looks awesome and I know how useful it is.
