the Rangers win a HUUUUGE exciting game last night and he's talking about the fucking Celtics in the opening as if anybody gives a fuck here, come back from the break and goes into the Jets schedule. Sheesh.
He had his boy Bill Simmons on yesterday to talk Celtics too. By the way, Bill Simmons without a doubt sounds like the biggest douche of all time. His voice makes me want to punch a wall.
The Rondo injury? Melo rumors? Crazy that he's not opening with the Rangers, or even Mets/Nats. After what Lebron did last night, is there any doubt who's winning the East anyway?
...his retirement can't come soon enough. In retrospect he's been in a steady decline since Dog headed to satellite. He needs a foil, he's too myopic to go it alone.
I won the Yankee turning point of the game contest on Joe and Evan Wednesday. 4 tickets to Yanks Orioles and randomly, a $44 Wendy's gift card. First time I ever got through to one of those things.
The flagship station of the Yanks awesomely hooked me up with bleacher seats! :/

GTFO. Radio really is the lowest of budgets, no wonder Beningo constantly complains.
There isn't anybody on sports radio locally who comes close to him in sports knowledge. Teh other day I turned on ESPN radio in NY and they had Stephen A Smith. is he a regular now? Francesa may be mailing it ibn now that he's coming to the end of his FAN days but he's still way better than anybody else. The only other good one in my opinion is Dave Rothenberg and he gets preempted all the time. Michael Kay is bad; Mike & Mike suck. Carton is beloe suck. Beningo is a clown and Evan not much better. Who else is there?
Two points, someone mentioned above how it's going to be if Christie gets the job. He's be worse than Carton if that possible and I would rather listen to NPR than either of them. Second, I like hockey and love the Ranger win, great win. But most people I know could give a shot of hockey. Francesa, at least, admits he doesn't know the game.

Nice. I won a box office blitz at Wfan back in April of 04 and won 2 tickets to the nyg draft day party. Eli draft. I won it late at night. Easier to get through then.
I know right? He thought a caller recently was duping him when callex to talk about 3 nfl free agents this offseason...which included Fluker. Called the guy a jerk basically
Some intrepid prankster called the fat man not long ago
and asked Mike deadpan for his thoughts about the Mets trading Cespedes and promoting Tebow to play every day...Mike was so annoyed he was genuinely flustered, it was brilliant

You think radio stations pay for those tickets? That's what's provided by the team.

I won Nets' playoff tickets from the FAN IN 2003. They were upper deck seats.

And was from Day 1. At least Francesa knew something about sports (except for hockey) at one point.
Making BBI great again.

But when it comes to sports radio, it's still hockey.
It looked as if Francesser had a young boy blow-up doll.
He begrudgingly brings in hockey commentators when a local team goes deep into the playoffs. That's about as close as he gets to hockey.
He can go hours about horse trainers or the Yankees fifth starter in 2019 though.
I think they broadcast the NBA. Might play into it.

How long and how much hockey did he talk?
I quit listening to him after 2015 once they took him off TV; the prank calls weren't as funny.
He totally has mailed it in; guy doesn't even try.
No, that's not possible.
And this made me LOL:

And face it, hockey isn't that big of a sport. Of the Big 4, it's clearly a distant 4th.

The NFL has nothing going on, there are no local NBA teams in the playoffs, and there's mid-April baseball.

More people are probably watching mid-April baseball than hockey.

Probably NASCAR too. WFAN doesn't cover that either, as they don't broadcast it.
