Looking forward to playing in that ballpark though.
These guys know that "Pirates" is just a nickname right?
Soon to be followed by 99.
All Rise.
It's a trainwreck of a situation that seems to get worse each week.

according to Kay. Even with him out the past couple of weeks or so. Not bad.

Yup. Team of future stars right here. :)
Agree that at a minimum there should be an equal rotation...

Sit either Gardner or Ells.

Oh my, my how the times have changed...
He already had two good starts
You sure about that? My overall record is good enough to win the division methinks.
Rather have superspynyg start it..
4-1
CC has settled in nicely the last two innings.
Incredibly well
With all the shifting and strange defensive alignments I would prefer the official scorers to be more forgiving of players playing out of position. I would also prefer Bird to have been credited with a hit and 2 RBI
4-3
Yep. Reminds of Dave Winfield (dating myself)

Harrison looks like a clown in the field. He booted one earlier too that was scored a hit..
Hot garbage.
I'm on the other side of this, although I respect your view. But the game of baseball is about 150 years old now, give and take. The reason that the shift was never used back in the "old days" is that the hitters would have taken it as a gimme and just hit the other way. I'm not in favor of changing the rules in baseball any more than I am in football, soccer or basketball. If you don't like the shift, just hit the other way. Ballplayers of an earlier era would have had a field day with the shift, and there's no reason the current ones can't either.
