My Mock

lugnut : 4/21/2017 4:46 pm
Everybody's got one, so...Might be optimistic on first two guys being there, but IF they were...What say you?

(1) David Njoku, TE
(2) Chris Wormley, DT
(3) Kareem Hunt, RB
(4) Conor McDermott, OT
(5) Brian Allen, CB
(6) Samson Ebukam, OLB
(7) Ben Braden, OG

(You might can tell, this is very influenced by our own Sy. Thanks, man! And I used CBS Sports site to gauge where guys are likely to go.)
Nice mock

Any mock that has Njoku in it I approve
I sincerely hope Reese takes him if he's there
Allen isnt falling that far...

but switch the third round RB for a CB and I'm signing.
Don't know much

About the bottom four but, top 3 would be great
Love the first 3 picks though I'm not as high on Wormley as others are

. Don't like the Day 3 picks
I'm not that high on Njoku, and I have a hard time believing we'd go

with him after signing Ellison. An all-around TE like OJ Howard is one thing but Njoku, who is slower, smaller, a bit stiff and a poorer blocker just doesn't do it for me.

Njoku is too similar to Travis Beckum, pass.
Nothing wrong with that Draft

Njoku is more raw than you'd like but his rare athletic ability counterbalances that. Another way of saying I wish his floor was a little higher but oh what a ceiling.

Couldn't agree more on everything. What does he bring us the next couple years? Possibly a seam threat? That's it. Not a good blocker, mediocre hands at best. Mediocre to bad route running and he'll be competing for TE2. That's not what I want out of my 1st when I'm trying to win a SB and DL depth and a starter on the OL away from being a contender.

Hard Pass.
