Another DT Cut: Jaye Howard

We don't need to be taking chances from the ambulatory squad.

More a nagging thing than anything structural.

He was placed on injured reserve with 3 games left to open a roster spot.

He was cut to save $1.4 million I'm cap space and Alvin Bailey essentially plays the same position.

If he is healthy he could be a great starter next to Snacks. But you have to think he isn't, for Chiefs to cut him for such a minimal cap savings.

If he's totally healthy and there isn't something else going on. Didn't KC lose Poe this offseason too? Why would they cut another DT for minimal cap savings (which they don't seem to necessarily need right now)? And Howard played pretty good a season or 2 ago, so makes you think there's more to the injury maybe...if not, then may be worth a look, but he'll probably also get more $ if he checks out medically.
