I'm writing a scene and in it a guy dies (his heart stops beating, he stops breathing, he's dead). Another guy immediately puts him over his shoulder (fireman carry) and as he is trying to move the body, the dead man's head keeps banging into walls, doors, etc. So my question is this: can the dead man develop bruises (i.e, a black eye) and swelling on his head and face from hitting things if his heart isn't beating? All the banging happens within three minutes from the time the guy dies, if that makes a difference, but the guy is definitely already dead. Thanks!
