Question for Tampa Bay Giant fans

Jolly Blue Giant : 4/23/2017 9:18 am
Planning a trip down to TB for the game in October. Do the Bucs sell out? What is the best way to get tickets? Am I better off waiting or buying early? A quick search shows that tickets seem on par with tickets st MetLife as far as price goes.....
Get in touch with Fred.

He is planning the MetLife South contingent. I'm sure he'll chime in her at some point.

I'm not sure how large the MetLife South contingent is as it was around 40. We might lose a few if the weather will be too hot for them and other scheduling conflicts. But needless to say, there will be a significant showing for Big Blue.
You will most likely have to buy off the secondary market

The Giants game is the #1 most popular game in Tampa. The stadium will be at least 75% Giants fans, if not more.

was the last time the Giants played here and that game sold out, but tickets were available on the secondary market right up to game day and also at the game from scalpers. The prices were nothing extraordinary maybe just a little more than a typical Bucs game. Of course it depends on if you care where you sit. At 4PM in early October the upper deck on the sunny side can get VERY hot.
Scalp them

The closer you get to kickoff the cheaper they are. I've gotten tickets the last 3 times the Giants have been here for under face value. All in the 100s section.
I would figure that tickets will be harder to get since the Bucs

made the playoffs last year and appear to be a team "on the rise".
My first anniversary "paper" gift from my wife are these tickets

She just checked StubHub this morning and upper deck tickets are $175. I said we will wait. I think these were the highest flex-priced game Tampa had other than their division games and given both teams and their playoff chances and the new York contingent in Tampa, will be expensive but not $170 expensive.

I know season ticket holders get a shot at single game tickets at home.once they go on sale, do they also get a chance at away games?
Thanks

I'm sure scalping would be for cost effective the day if he game but don't want to plan a trip (plane tickets, hotel, etc) without tickets.

You won't have a single problem scalping tickets. There are 100s of people across the street from the stadium. Maybe close to a 1000 people selling them
Been to every Giants game in a Tampa the last 12 years,

Came down some years back, we linked up with people from this board for the tailgate. It was cool. Was hoping to do it again with this game. I will be looking out for tickets as well. I think I need 5. I'm going to try and take my son to his first football game. Depending on ticket pricing.

Us or not make sure you stop by our BBI group tailgate. We had a blast 2 years ago and this year should be even better! The Atlanta crew has a bunch of people coming down again as well. Fred-in-Florida is the man!
