Yep. No time for the hush $ to be worked out.
Misdemeanor, felony

doesnt make any difference. If they are good football players they get off, or get probation or a suspended sentence. It' s a joke that makes me sicker and sicker each time it happens.

Well, you could have deleted and re-posted in a language resembling English. Or explained it in this next post.

Since always. Can be either.

Story is that she hit him and he hit her back. Curious as to how the prosecutor came to determine that it wasnt self defense. Must have been a delay because he has a right to defend himself from assault even if he's way bigger. If this turns out to be a close case, you really have to wonder if the prosecutor timed the announcement to screw him.

No, Im not defending him. I have no idea what the particulars were.

The success rate for DV prosecutions is miniscule. Even without fame (which might at least encourage a woman to see it through to the financial settlement) plenty of men get away with DV.

Well then why wasn't she charged also? It is not a one way street.
police report states
bluepepper : 4/23/2017 4:36 pm : link
it was retaliation, not self defense and force exceeded what was necessary. This really isn't all that hard. Somebody 180 pounds lighter than you gives you a push, it doesn't give you license to knock them unconscious.

It also doesn't give the 1st person the right to hit, either. While in the end a 300 lber shouldn't be slugging a 130 lber, both should be arrested and charged. Without the initial assault, there would not have been the 2nd.

There were already comments and I wasn't going to delete it for one word. Others were able to figure it out.

If that was were your daughter are you telling her "tough shit you pushed him first"?

Sure she should have never pushed him. It's also probable his life wasn't at risk. He should have had restraint.

If a woman pushes Evander Holyfield, he doesn't have the right to knock the woman out.
This takes him off the Giants board

In your case, it is doubtful she could hurt Brantley, but that does not make it right or should be overlooked if she did it intentionally. I'm not saying Brantley should be exonerated - simply saying she should be charged, too.
Yep...

I love it when we go to these hypotheticals, it means you have no argument.

if it was my daughter, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt they would all know better than to hit a man as we were taught as kids equally don't hit girls or boys etc...

.

This is true, him and Mixon, and Cook all off their board.
I wonder if we will have a video on this guy like Mixon.
Folks, did you see the Mixon video? So a woman about
5 feet tall does slap him with an open hand, and Mixon
decides, that is enough to hit her with a right cross,
that Joe Frazier would have been proud of! Good times had by
all. Some of these guys are mental midgets, dasit.

Watson : 4/23/2017 6:59 pm : link
"According to court documents, the incident began when Brantley made crude comments about the woman. She pushed Brantley, who then punched her and knocked her unconscious. The blow -- from a closed fist, according to one witness in the report -- displaced a tooth and will require a root canal.

The April 17 document states that Brantley's action was "clearly out of retaliation and not self-defense" and "far exceeded what was reasonable or necessary."

And you'd still be suing.
Yes Brantley should have bugged out
RetroJint : 4/24/2017 6:48 am : link
once she hit him. Then he should have sought to have her arrested. The inconvenient truth often is the woman frequently precipitates the physical altercation. Just like in the Ray Rice case. Mrs. Rice hit him alongside the head with a champagne bottle. Knock some sense into the lad.

Thanks for succinctly exposing the nonsense of Sasuke's posting. We don't live in a vigilante society. If an offense has been committed against you, call the police.
