NFT: "The Leftovers" S3 E2...****SPOILERS****

Ceez2.0 : 4/24/2017 9:37 am
I didn't see a thread for last nights episode. If I overlooked it, I'll delete this one. Another interesting episode. So we found out how Nora broke her arm and what happened to Lilly. The end confused me as it seemed they were in another timeline like last week but then Kevin's pops limps outside????!!!

Oh and how freaking cool was it to see cousin Larry AND the "Wu-Tang Band" references. LOL!
The "Perfect Strangers" theme song was great.

That's been a hilarious running gag, and of course in true "Leftovers" fashion they gave it a serious twist. I thought Mark Linn-Baker did a great job. Otherwise, it was a Carrie Coon showcase - she was fantastic as usual.
This might have been one

The whole Australia tie in gives me hope for the final episodes. Check out the link for an overview of this week's episode and the previous two seasons. It's a good read!

refer to the upcoming anniversary of the departure?

Another terrific episode. Tommy pissed me off in his conversation with Nora. After the way Christine and Tommy dumped that baby and Nora took care of it, she's allowed to have some moments of pain and regret.

Mark Lynn-Baker - "Everything that matters is up in the cloud, right?"

Anyone watch Fargo? Electronics don't work for Carrie Coon on either show... no way that's a coincidence.

That was a hilarious touch.

Yep, that was a brilliant line.

Agreed about Tommy - he's the only character on the show I really don't like, going all the way back to Holy Wayne beginnings.
Finally caught up last night.

Fantastic start to this season. The ending of the first ep really threw me for a loop. Seems like it's connected to the way the season started somehow from that 1800's scene and like there's also a connection between that older version of Nora and those women who mistook the Australian chief for Kevin Garvey. No idea what it is yet - but this season is set up to be pretty incredible.

Side note.. what ever happened to Aimee? (Jill's friend from S1)

It has been a couple of years so maybe I'm just forgetting but did anything ever actually happen to her or did she just stop appearing on the show after that weird innuendo between her and Kevin?
