Jamal Adams is the son of 1985 first round pick - George Adams
Christian McCaffrey is the son of 1991 third round pick - Ed McCaffrey
Cooper Kupp is the son of 1990 fifth round pick - Craig Kupp (QB).
Adams and McCaffrey are likely first round picks. Kupp should go in the second or third round.
But there is another.
Leon McQuay III; a safety out of USC is a possible late pick. He is the grandson of Leon "X-RAY" McQuay. A Giants 5th round pick in 1973. X-Ray is notable as the first black scholarship athlete at the University of Tampa.
What a great name: X-Ray McQuay. I thought he'd be a tremendous running back for us. But only lasted one year.
Long day, Earl?
I didn't realize that Jerrell Adams had a kid when he was three years old. Wow.
He's got no shot in the NFL. Great kid but he screwed himself out of an NFL career insisting on playing DT at 250. Post knee injury and finally getting near 280 he was invisible last year.
Should have been a DE.

No, it isn't. OP is correct.
Wikipedia notes Leon McQuay's nickname as "X-Ray" and that is what I remember. How could he be named X-Ray and not be great! For that matter how could Danny "Lightning" Buggs not have been a great receiver?
I suppose one of the papers could have used the term "All the Way" for McQuay. They recycled that nickname for Madonna as Mae "All the Way" Mordabito in the movie: A League of Their Own.
Was just about to post the same comment. I also recall the nickname as 'All the Way McQuay."
IM Hipp
REmember, we were all groovy wearing out elephant bell bottoms when he played
Although "all the way" had a somewhat different connotation with Madonna
Great thread. Thanks!
