NFT: Commercial photo printer

Looking for a commercial grade photo printer for printing photographs from a Mac. Looking for something under 10k and wide range of paper but nothing huge like a poster or anything unusual. Does anyone have any thoughts or experience with printers like this?

Ask for my moms who has traditionally worked with photos she developed herself. Now she's moving to digital.
Commercial grade is an interesting term here

Is this unit for high frequency, or high quality? And how wide are the long side of the prints?

Any of the Epson P series photo printers would be great in an environment where you're not pumping out enough images to blow through ink, the P800 is a gem for 17x22 and under, and plenty of models in the line for wider. You need to work out the cost per print.

If you need a commercial grade printer for high frequency, then you're going to either sacrifice image quality, or pay through the nose for ink. While the Canon series printers are pretty good, I wouldn't stray too far from Epson. I believe they also make ink tanks which can help with print costs.
Thanks glow

I'm not too sure about the exact size. Mom was being sold a high speed Sharp laser printer for about 8,000 and the prints were really good for a PowerPoint or something but hardly photo quality. I've read good things about the Epsons. Also see some dye subs by DNP on the internet that look interesting. She's printing scanned silver print photographs as more affordable reproductions of her gallery work.
