Anyone else have a hard on for Reuben Foster at 23?

DennyInDenville : 4/25/2017 8:26 pm
If he falls he would be a stud for us.

Doubt he falls past 9 though.

Little worried about the drugs but he is a FOOTBALL PLAYER
Of course

He's one I could look by his bullshit for. But if they wouldn't draft Tunsil, you know this guy probably isn't even on their first round board.
Not anymore

Wonderlic 9. Diluted sample. Sent home from the combine. Too risky at 23.
100%, but I doubt we pull the trigger.

Also, his shoulder issues make me nervous with his violent style of play.

too many red flags.
I can't imagine

the Giants burning a first on a player of questionable character. Not to mention, they don't put a high emphasis on paying big bucks to linebackers as a whole and a first rounder would be well paid. I don't see it happening
speaking of questionable character...
grizz299 : 4/25/2017 8:54 pm : link

too bad the OP can't express himself in a reasonable manner without showing off his infantile, limited, and vulgar character.

Loved watching him @ Bama - was one of my favorite players on the team. But Reub has some legit red flags. I'd be wary of drafting him. It would be very risky and the first round isn't where you want to be taking that type of risk. Especially in a year like this where we really, really need to hit on this pick and get a player who can contribute ASAP.
He's probably off the Giants board so don't get too excited...
Torrag : 4/25/2017 9:10 pm : link
...if he' there at #23. And don't be disappointed when he's still there at #24.
Yup. Rock Hard.
Taggart : 4/25/2017 9:27 pm : link
And Landon would help accelerate his learning curve. The off field stuff is just noise. The kid is a stud.

He's probably just telling the truth. Reuben gives him wood. Appreciate his honesty.

Interesting you mentioned Landon...
22yr old Reub is way ahead of him; he's the father of a 9 year old daughter... if he works out, she'll be in college before he quits the game
Rather have Davis or Reddick.

Foster at 23 is a no brainer too but I like both of those other guys better.
He's been my wet dream since early February
WillieYoung : 4/25/2017 10:31 pm : link
Every time a character question has arisen I've cheered since it increases the possibility he falls. We passed on Saap and Randy Moss. I know football players are supposed to be roll models. Let Jacksonville worry about that, I want to win.
Interesting seems split opinion
DennyInDenville : 4/25/2017 10:38 pm : link
Reddick is very interesting also

I really wonder where guys like Foster, Cook, Peppers, Mixonfall too
I love his highlight vids
Johnny5 : 4/25/2017 10:50 pm : link
He is a destroyer. Wouldn't be sad at 23.... no sir.

Is this for real? He had a kid when he was 13?

If true I see it as a positive somehow on the football field
We need a little crazy on this defense

It adds an edge. Put him at WLB and let him make plays. Foster would be a run to the table pick if I was Jerry.
Randy Moss had character issues too.
Mike from SI : 4/26/2017 4:11 am : link
Just saying.
Talent wise, he reminds me of Kuechly.
Ira : 4/26/2017 5:07 am : link
He's always around the ball. But you do have to look at the red flags.

I'm curious why you weren't attracted to him when he was 18 or 21? Regardless, now that he recently turned 23, I say take a chance and give the man a call. You only live once. The worst he can say is no. Take a chance!

Good luck and may Cupid find you both.

Regards,
Abby
Of course you take Foster at 23
Jimmy Googs : 4/26/2017 8:18 am : link
despite the red flags.

If we don't, we are the ones on drugs...
I 100% take him at 23
Jim in Forest Hills : 4/26/2017 9:12 am : link
Tone setter for the defense. If his shoulder checks out medically, thats a steal. I'll take his teammate Humphery at 55 too. Another Bama player dropping.
Not gonna happen

Might be the landing spot at 14.
Rather have Davis who is worth it at 23
SomeFan : 4/26/2017 9:17 am : link
and by all accounts a solid guy. No babysitting needed.
Unlikely to go LB that isn't an edge rusher

I want another pass rusher also but really want him to be a DE. I think Watt can be that by year 2.
