...and the rankings for these same players from Nolan Nawrocki and GBN.
Sorry for the formatting. The 1 - 32 rankings followed by the player's name / position/school is from Mike Mayock. The last two numbers are Nawrocki's and GBN's ranking for that same player. So, for example, Mayock has Jonathan Allen ranked #2, whereas Nawrocki has him at #3; GBN #4. Pretty close.
A couple of caveats... Mayock and GBN rankings are very recent (last few days), whereas Nawrocki's is at least a month old. Also, Nawrocki's rankings do not reflect where he thinks the player will be drafted, but is rather based on pure value. My sense is that Mayock and GBN are primarily considering value first but may also consider where they think a player may (approximately) go in the draft due to team needs and how teams value certain positions. (I could be wrong about that.)
In any event, I post this just for fun and to identify the Mayock Top 32 players in which there's a fairly large divergence from either Nawrocki and/or GBN.
All else being equal, the higher the ranked player by Mayock, the greater the expectation that Nawrocki's and GBN's rankings will be pretty close... and that the biggest divergences appear as one goes lower down Mayiock's list. That pretty much holds up.
But (IMO) that also means that a ranking that divergences, say, 5 or 6 places for a highly ranked player may be just as significant/important (in terms of evaluation) as greater divergences that occur lower down on the list... if that makes any sense.
Anyway... a few divergences that caught my eye...

But yes, no Bolles
I understand why he is dropping, but that doesn't mean his talent is dropping.
I would hate that. That's a remote-thrower for me. I'll be shocked if he ends up as a starter. He seems like a situations pass-rusher at best.
I believe he's 33 on Mayock's List.
the big difference is Dave thinks Watt and Bowser have been getting much higher rankings into round one

yes and Willis Too
Mayock has Jordan Willis at #37
Mayock has Tyus Bowswer at #80.
Nawrocki has him at #88
And GBN has him at #39
Bama has 5 players in the top 32. So 17% of the top 32 college players went to Bama. Not bad.
