The last episode (10) was another pretty good one. But, I still find Taylor to a little too robotic. That said, it was an interesting encounter with Brian. Taylor certainly doesn't seem likely to rat out Axe. In fact, it seems more likely they will do more to aid and abet Axe, at this point.
I think we will see more internal conflict with Taylor, though. The week before, there seemed to be a level of discomfort to go along with enjoyment of the private jet. Now, the luxe apartment and huge bonuses. This character may still be in flux.
I guess I'm in the minority, but I am not enamored with Wendy. She is attractive, but I don't get why people are drooling over her or her character.
How did/does Chuck not think all his time in S& M clubs, etc. was not going to come out in a run for Governor, especially with an enemy like Axe. When Boyd summoned Axe to his job, I thought it was going to be him revealing this discovery.
The interaction with the pizza guy was eh. That is supposed to be the fallout of his actions with the town? They should have reserved that for when he was more clear headed, instead of in the middle of a family crisis.
Speaking of which, what do you think the story ark will be with Lara? I get her being mad, but I think it was a little bit of an over reaction.
What I find most interesting is that you can never really root for either Axe or Chuck, nor can you ever really root against them.
What I find annoying is that typing about Taylor is difficult when it comes time for pronouns. I still think that is a gratuitous part of the character to seem progressive.
I'm convinced that conversation was bugged and Axe will blame this on Lara for clouding his mind/judgement. Just a theory but I think that's whats going to happen as a season ending cliffhanger.
And, I'm sorry, but every one of Axe's deals is just a drop of inside info and a hunch and then fudging the numbers to justify it? Not buying it.

Are you sure Boyd said that and/or meant it? When he called Axe to meet him at his work release he said "bring me a bottle of 20-year" - and that meant Scotch.
It wouldn't make sense for him to then say "I can't they piss test me".
I'm not saying Boyd is definitely not a Rhoades pawn at this time, the thought crossed my mid, but I don't think the scotch quote makes sense.
Then they chat and he takes a big swig after the fact. To me it looked like he needed a drink after that chat because he is in the process of fucking Axe over to get himself a shorter sentence.
Just a theory but I think it plays well as we near the end of the season.

When Axe went to meet with his pal from Spartan Ives he brought the bottle of scotch and he immediately says "I cant they piss test me". Then they discusses a stock scam to screw over Rhodes. As Axe is leaving the guy takes the bottle and drinks with a look that says "Ah thats over"

That said, maybe Boyd simply wanted to see if he would bring it. Maybe this is nitpicking, but I also thought it odd how Axe had it in a crumpled paper bag, as if he was passing off some 40 or a pinto of cheap liquor. And I understand it is work release, but Boyd is working in an empty building with no supervision of any kind. Does that make sense.
Also, a great use of taxpayer dollars for a bunch of on duty cops to be parked outside of Lara's brother's home.

Think death by a thousand cuts, some deeper than others.

Seemed like from memory Boyd did most of the talking.

even say to Boyd that could incriminate Axe?

Axe did put him in contact with some shady people to perform illegal acts.
during their conversation at the school or whatever it was that Boyd was cleaning?
In either case the ice juice stuff seems 100% more likely to hurt Rhoades than Axe- based on what we know.
Even if Boyd was wired.

It's also possible he just said fuck it and took a chance because he is thrilled to screw over Rhoades.
This. I think some are looking to deep into things. of course I could be wrong.
