Yes, just a leaf blowing in the wind, but don't you agree that he was one of ESPN's better college football analysts? From what they are saying 40 on-air folks are gone. I think since we have NFL Network, MLB Network, NBA & the like, interest in ESPN has waned over the years. On a kidding side, I would love to see ESPN hire Lavar Ball & place him on Stephen Smith's show. Crazy Smith wanted to kill the guy - funniest segment this year

People do seem to love that show. It's funny. I occasionally watch because it's like a car wreck to me.

Kanell struck me as a guy that was trying too hard to get a job doing that same thing. Who knew you could make so much money yelling on tv.

But they dumped/will dump veteran(big pay) reporters to reduce the financial bleeding. Likely they also reduce 2 + hour shows to 1/2 their size, rebroadcast them often like NFLN does with their early morning show.

Agree with the above poster re: Jemele Hill. She is absolutely terrible and that show she has with Michael Smith is fucking brutal.

First Take is a funny show. It's hard to take anything on TV too seriously these days. As far as those ESPN shows go, it at least allows people to take a full speaking turn.
