Quickest feet in the draft and is always in position against edge rushers. Will need help against bull rushers, so Pugh and others will be a big help to him. Flowers is not a LT and at best possibly a RT. Bolles is better than Flowers despite Flowers 2 years of additional pro experience. Flowers has proven he can not play LT.
we have experts on this site that have stated that Flowers was looking pretty good in the second half of last season - so I'm not sure he's proved that he can;t play LT

great idea to add another weak guy vulnerable to power rushers. and spend a 1st roundwer on him to boot
not likely given projections.
thinking we might see peppers, adore, or Engram given where we pick.
not expecting to see the media darling OL in blue at 23
I believe this true...
I think we can trade back with ATL and grab one of Peppers Adoree Engram
And then maybe trade up and grab another one of Peppers Adoree Engram
Has a chance to be a great slot corner and the most dynamic return man in the NFL. If a coach is smart, they play Jackson a bit on offense also. Great hands, tough, incredibly elusive.

Re-Watch the last month or so of last season and while flowers was a mess against Dallas he played very well against Detroit and Washington. I don't remember the gb game as I blocked it out.
where any offensive lineman is anything but a reach at 23. I'll be pretty disappointed if Giants go that way.
Who are rated higher than Cam Robinson, Lamp, and Bolles for them to be reaches?
Among those who might be available I think Bowser, Conley, Baker, Harris, Barnett, McDowell, Engram, Njoku are all better picks than any of the O-Linemen. And if those guys are all gone that means a bunch if top 10 talents will be on the board.
According to another thread, McAdoo is enamored with Mahomes
trading up from 23 to in front of 13 somewhere for a QB with as much bust potential as this one would still be crackheaded.
Or...they don't plan on being in position to draft a top QB next year (following a deep playoff run) and this is their best chance to get a developmental QB who has been compared to Brett Favre by some. I don't think Eli's play has much to do with this, so much as his age. Also, getting a QB in the first round means you have him for 5 years (option year) versus getting him in later rounds when you have him for only four.
Also, if there truly are no OTs they like in round 1, and you can get an edge player in rounds 2 or 3, and they are really going to sign Blount, then why the heck not. Go get a young strong armed, mobile QB.
He's a gunslinger from an "air raid" offense. No QB from that offense has ever succeeded in the NFL. None. Like all other QBs from that offense, he makes one, maybe two reads, before throwing. He doesn't execute three, five, or seven step drops. He bails on pockets before he should. He throws into coverage, and across the field because of his arm strength. His mechanics and footwork are terrible.
Taking him at #23 would be a complete waste. Trading up to get him would be insane. McAdoo is a second year coach. Is management really going to allow him to sacrifice a ton of draft picks for Mahomes?
the people that complain about the pick. Or insists one guy sucks. I saw it with Odell and JPP. You have no clue how these extremely young kids turnout. I get people liking someone who turns out to be a bust, that's just the same as the GM who took him. But to say people like Mahomes are a bust waiting to happen is insane. I think that kid has all the tools.

Trading up in front of the Cardinals likely means trading with the Bills or higher. That's this year's first, next year's first, and then some second or third somewhere (if not more).
If you're on board with that for a player with as much potential to bust as this one... well, I'm glad someone is.

This. A 2nd year HC on a 3 year deal is not given the latitude to dictate who "He" wants. Input is given, but this is the Jerry Reese show. Ben might not get the chance to see a second contract unless the offense is back in sync. We are in a win now mode.

Would be crazy good beside Snacks
Wow.
Wow.
ew
Wow.
They'd take him if he's there when they pick, but I refuse to believe they'd be this dumb.
Or Anita Marks would be the one to break it.
Wow.
Yeah. JonC said that there was real interest in Mahomes. I was hoping he was wrong.
Wow.
Hmmm...That seems to be a lot of information for Marks to know.
Wow.
Arizona and Washington could take him.
me too. i dont mind mahomes but trade up for him? wtf....ZERO impact on the next two seasons
He struggled in pass pro? He handled the best pass rusher in this draft one on one the whole game! Ramcyzk struggled with Taco at times.

Wow.
That's a bold move

I don't see it. I could see them taking a qb but trading up for one? No way.

Asiago or Dawkins in the second
TE, DT, DE, LB based on value in the 3rd best avail
One of above or RB in 4 and 5 best avail
That would give us
Flowers, Pugh, Richberg, Jerry, Fluker, Hart and the two rookies to fight it out.
I think he has a lot of ARod type skills
Wow.
How do they even know where Mahomes is going to be taken?

Mahomes himself , compared his game to Rodgers.

I don't know. Every time they show Kay Adams, it gets better.
