As a friendly reminder, the BUSIEST days on BBI throughout its 22-year history are not the playoffs or Super Bowl, but the draft. And everyone has something to say.
We ask that posters be more judicious in starting new threads. Moderators will start new discussion threads for each round (to discuss picks for all teams) and before and after the Giants pick in each round. Most of the comments should go in these threads when the draft is being held tonight, tomorrow night, and Saturday (starting new threads when the draft is not being held on these three days is fine).
It's also fine to start new threads with breaking news, rumors, or other juicy information.
The reason we ask this is so it is easier for EVERYONE to sort through the chaos and find the best info.
Thank you for your cooperation.
Also be aware that because of the high traffic numbers on these days, the server in the past has gotten stressed. Hopefully that doesn't happen this year but it will get slower when the Giants pick, especially tonight and tomorrow night.
There is no way to police that. We're not going to start two threads for each round. If you don't want the pick being "spoiled", stay off BBI for the few minutes up until the pick.
But, seriously, besides watching the Giants actually play on game day /playoff games, this is one of the best days for football for fans. I love it.

Posts of the pick from Twitter before they are announced on ESPN or NFL Network?

Personally I do not care. I just didn't want to innocuously post something and find myself banned because it was actually against the rules of Draft Day posting.
...I NEVER start useless threads!

And you can feel the draft energy with the site being so slow already.
Just a suggestion.....
That helps.

+1. Lots of really smart people on BBI, and the amount of non-football knowledge people share here is fantastic.
That seemed to work well and didn't seem hard to have duel threads?
Doesn't really matter to me either way but it seemed to work well when they did it that way in the past and may offer some people a better draft experience on the site if they were so inclined to repeat the strategy.
Couldn't decide which one? (grin)
