Does anybody know this?

If a team wants to move up a few spots, and they find a team willing to trade, is it common for the team wanting to move up to reveal to the team moving down, exactly who it is that they are targeting?

It's all about the relationship between the specific individual GMs involved. Different levels of comfort and trust.

willing to trade down accepting the trade without at least a guarantee from the trading up team that they are not going to take "their guy". Unless there is no real "their guy".....but isn't there always?

I guess if the team trading down is "meh" about which guy they get.....but what team GM is like that?

I think there must be some level of revelation that goes on....
