Rank Position Name College Height Weight
1 LB Jarrad Davis Florida 6'2" 238
Its been decades since the NYG have invested in a RD1 LB. Davis has every attribute you could possibly want in a LB and I think the opportunity to play behind this DL especially Snacks gives him every opportunity for great success.
2 QB Davis Webb Cal 6'6" 230
I know the majority of BBI thinks Eli has 5,10, 25 years left (sarcasm). I don't anticipate that. I'd rather spend for and identify the next QB prior to it being a desperate situation. Plus, you need a viable backup and Geno is not that. I love Webb's size/arm and sneaky athletic ability. I also love his intelligence, work ethic and demeanor.
3 DT Nazair Jones UNC 6'5" 320
Country strong DT would would do well initially as a rotational run stopping DT.
4 TE George Kittle Iowa 6'4" 250
Kittle was unknown to me prior to the combine. He performed so well that many went back to the tape. While he is not as good as Howard/Engram and not as upside oriented as Njoku, I do think he's better than all the others. Very well developed player.
5 LT Conor McDermott UCLA 6'9" 305
Myles Garrett lit him up via the bull rush but otherwise had a encouraging season. Great athlete, nice technique. Needs 20 lbs but he's a good developmental pass blocker.
6 S/LB Josh Harvey Clements Louisville 6'4" 230
Reminds me Brandon Jacobs in some ways. How? Well, he has unique size for one. Secondly, he has that "alpha dog" personality Jake has. Lastly, the guy has rare athleticism but probably looking at a position change to LB. In the meantime, he's a special teams head hunter.
7 CB Will Likely Maryland 5'7" 185
One of the truly great athletes in the draft but 5'7" and coming off an ACL. Still, to me he's a great slot CB prospect who can also make a living returning kicks/punts. Kid has the necessary feistiness to success given his small stature.
Zack Cummingham, ILB. Here to hoping.
Trey Hendrickson, DE. Prefer Demarcus Walker.
Kareem Hunt, RB. Reach... Best RB then.
Eddie Venderdose, DT.
Zack Banner, OT.
Gunner Kiel, QB.
The need for offensive line is a must. Reach with a couple players, sure but draft are fickle and one never knows. Either way, here to hoping for the best, GO GIANTS!
creating a situation where you NEED a QB and are not likely to be in a position to draft a Darnold type is a good way to destroy the long term success of the franchise
