A little inside info. Take it with a grain of salt. But a friend of mine's father is an area scout for the Patriots and he mentioned to me that Reese and co have gone all out the last week on Watt and see him as a LB/DE hybrid. Where I think he may have been a plan B if Robinson, Ramczyk, and Bolles were all gone, I think Watt is now our plan A with the o-linemen the plan B if Watt is gone.
I think he winds up at 4-3 DE in the NFL, but the surgeries is bothersome.
Zack Cummingham, ILB. Here to hoping???
Trey Hendrickson, DE. Prefer Demarcus Walker.
Kareem Hunt, RB. Reach... Best RB then.
Eddie Venderdose, DT.
Zack Banner, OT.
Gunner Kiel, QB.
Sure, I could live with the idea of drafting Cummingham in the first round and then draft Taylor Morton in the second round.
That's the question. I think it depends on the system. In a 3-4, LB. In our system, I could see him being a very good DE.
Nothing special there...
He has a swagger and shows up for big plays.
He reminds me of Washington's Ryan Kerrigan.
He is a 4-3 end not a 3-4 linebacker. He has played from a (3) point stance. Some will think that he is a LB due to his speed and the way he runs sideline to sideline.
Watt is also a lot larger than he looks. He will carry 265 lbs. @ 6'-4"
Watt like his brother is a late bloomer he is still growing
This is why we should target Bowser over both Watt and Cunningham, think he will be the better PRO.
