What do you think of Peppers at #23, or after a trade down? I can easily see it. He's the swiss army knife. Excellent combine. 4.46 40. Great range. Versatile, which is what the Giants want. PR. Team player. They apparently aren't worried about the diluted sample, which they shouldn't be. I'd be fine with Peppers at #23, and would love it after a trade down.
Peppers at #23? - (
New Window )
But I don't think we're looking for him.
OL, DL, RB, OJ, impact LB.
Yeah, we never make that bold move. LIke trading up to get the first pick in the 2nd round to draft Landon Collins. We NEVER do stuff like that!!!!
Pretty sure they just did it two years ago.. but don't let that get in the way of your bullshit narrative.
Every win was on Peppers shoulders. Teams like Don Bosco and Paramus Catholic play the very best teams in NJ, and also get on planes and travel to play the the best high school teams in America. Peppers dominated everywhere.
Peppers was amazing in track as well. I saw him win the State Championship as a Junior in both the 100 M and 200 M.
At Michigan, he was Freshman of the Year, and nationally the Sophomore of the Year.
People worry about his position, but adding his skills to your roster should be every coaches dream.
Peppers to the Giants? This Giants fan would love it.
He's the 3 Rd S if he was here. No thanks. If he wasn't from NJ no one here would want him. And to compare he's not half the player Will Hill was.
Now in regards to his cover skills what is his 3-cone? His 40 is not bad elite no. Bad no. So with that he can cover TEs an RBs. You play him at FS or nickle DB we know he can blitz as well as set the edge.
Now add in the VALUE in the CAP ERA .... DB KR PR and spy on running QBs...
@ 23 excellent pick
If you, every draft, don't trade down... and not get Conklin, and not get Floyd, and not get target after leaked target, then your also saying that your value board says there's a huge gap in talent after you pick. This has happened in many drafts.. and I believe they don't capitalize in making numbers work with many players of similar value.
The one year he was in a cover role he got 10 picks ... but ok
Notice there is not consistent a lot of film on him giving up big plays and getting burnt

Cover because he can't

Um find me the link w 10 picks? In HS? Or Pop Warner? LOL ok He's Woodson all over again. You've convinced me
Again Most over rated player in the draft and Manti Te'o Great athlete. Meh player His stats say it His film says it. No more Marvin Austin's for me.
Still show me the blown plays and coverage there should film of it since he sucked in coverage

Well somehow all the teams including the Giants now keep passing on this reincarnation of Woodson. If he's such a stud why is he still sitting waiting on his name.
If he could cover why didn't he play CB? Nope Moved to S. Pedestrian at S moved to LB. top tier coverage guys aren't moved. 10 passes defended is some huge stat? Maybe Who were they against Western Mich or Ohio St. kid has 4.4 speed and can't play CB or FS and you are touting his coverage?
He's projected as a SS and he barely played there. He may go onto a great NFL career but his greatest players were w the ball in his hands.
You can abuse me when he becomes a pro-bowler. Which he may but I have my doubts
