did I tell you? QBs get overdrafted every year. Next year may be an exception, depending on how all the upcoming QBs perform this season. Bears fans hate it. And they should. Wow.
Teams always panic and overdraft QBs...not saying he won't pan out, but almost no one had him going at 2 (and to the Bears)... Love the surprises. Keep jumping at QBs, maybe someone slips down that the Giants want
The thing is, I think Mahomes will be a franchise QB
He'll be forced to start in Cleveland. That will suck for his career since he needs to learn a ton. He needs to develop. If he sucks for a few seasons he will get yanked.
Does well two 3s and a 4 is not a lot ... and the glennon deal is easy to deal with knowing the kid sits for 2 yrs and yr 3 they battle for the spot and glennon backups or cut ... but you have a vet backup that knows the system
As for the picks the 4th is gravy tier 2 FA 3rds may mean you miss on a gem that needs some polish or a journey at level of the draft it is no sure thing
SF gets the guy everyone figured they wanted, and a pick to boot. Sounds like they probably had other offers to go up to #2 for a QB...Guess they went with Chi probably because they didn't want to drop too far and lose Thomas. I'd guess the deals were somewhat comparable, but if it was Cle at 12 they have a lot of ammo, so surprised Cle wasn't able to make best deal (or didn't want to)

3 picks (2 this year and 1 next year)
Cleveland may not be in position to get a good QB next year
selecting a RB. It seems like something borderline playoffs teams should do to get over the hump. By the time these shitty teams turn it around, the RB will likely be having a bunch of tread on the tires or battling injuries.
It had to be Trubisky if they were trading up.
There wer a ton of top defensive players there for them, so who else do you give up so much for other than a QB?
OMG IS THAT MITCHELL TRUBISKY'S MUSIC!!!!???
agreed, guess they thought 49ers would pick him.
Not sure about guaranteed money but I'd say it's probably because they made a bad move acquiring him, ha.

I knew that trade had to be for a QB.

Cleveland was trying to trade with San Francisco, apparently.
They had to beat them to it.
You pancake eating MF'er

Did they give Glennon all that cheddar

Absolutely, Bruce.

Why do you make that trade for him?

6 picks an hour
Giants to pick just before midnight?
Would make sense with TC running the show in Jax...he likes balance and the running game

Doesn't he just seem like a Jaguar pick? Not sure why, just seems like it regardless of where they would have been picking, ha
3 picks (2 this year and 1 next year)
They think they got their franchise QB. Cant knock giving 2 #3s too hard.
He's got the final say on everything.
