Need a play maker at the RB position. Always rather draft a RB because they have a short shelf life and they can contribute immediately. Love to get a one cut back that can punish a defense.
Its a salary cap world and the only reason Wade was getting reps is because a starting player ahead of him was injured. You can't help it if your depth gets hit by injuries. If Eli goes down are we pissed we didn't have better depth than Geno? We certainly have much bigger needs.

Well, no. But the difference is you can, and more than any point in league history before, must play three or four cornerbacks at once sometimes, so it's in your best interest to have players who can actually play if called upon.
I doubt they expect Wormley to last until 55. Is he special enough to justify a trade-up? There's other second-round talent on the board, but Brantley and McDowell seem to have red flags all over them, and Tomlinson doesn't look like a great fit. Montravious Adams could be an option later.
It will be very interesting to see how they approach DT on days 2&3.

I hope they nab someone day 2 for the DL. Carlos Watkins in the third would be nice. DL and OL are the two groups I hope they're choosing from at 55.
But, I think the Engram pick makes OL a little less of a priority. I agree OL is still a weakness. But, adding Marshall and Engram along with having Perkins on the field more may minimize that weakness.
This offense should now be vastly improved and go back to putting up points. That s with or without an improved OL. The passing game will set up the run. Remember, McAdoo and his offense were brought here specifically to make up for a poor OL and mediocre running game. For two years it did a good job of that. Last year it did not. But adding a legit #2 WR and #1 TE, both of whom should excel in the red zone, should give us a potent passing attack.
to eventually replace DRC, especially since he has had problems staying on the field the last few seasons....need someone with talent for the inevitable injury.....
Still not sold on Thompson at FS, since he may have problems staying on the field.....a guy that could play FS/CB would be ideal.....
Yes DT and LB needs upgrades.....but you don't get them unless they actually are.....
Still need a bruiser for a RB....too bad we did not sign Blount before the draft, to save a pick.....
And of course, there is the OL......so you fill them with best player available at each position.....not in any particular order....
Also DT and CB.
But which of these can we do without? I'm thinking S, LB and edge rusher.
Lamp, Feeney,Dawkins, Robinson, Tomlinson, Wormley, Cunningham, Bowser, and Moreau all still available.
I say stay tight at #55 and watch a good player fall right in their laps.
We NEED a DT We NEED a Right Guard we NEED a Right tackle

I guess you didn't see Wade play?

Hard to do that with two picks.
