to keep an eye on for release in Cleveland is Desmond Bryant.
Bryant missed last season after tearing a pec while lifting weights. He is 31, but is a solid 3 technique that can get to the quarterback (6 sacks in 2015).
Bryant is a Harvard guy that has been relatively healthy through out his career. With Myles Garrett as their top pick, there could be a youth movement along the D line of the Browns.
Bryant would be a huge upgrade over Bromley and Thomas.
Not saying he will be released, but its worth following as the Browns still have a lot of draft picks to use this weekend on a roster that can only hold 90.
Not like CLE needs cap space, so can only guess they're committed to going young. Still, think he could be a useful piece alongside Njoku while he gets up to speed, since he is very young and supposed to be raw. Even then, teams need multiple TEs, I wasn't aware of anyone else of note on the roster?
I'd say he's worth a look at a low price, but not sure we really have a place for him (oddly enough). Engram, Ellison & Adams are probably locks, and considering Ellison fills the FB role (my guess), we may keep 4 and I'd guess Tye would be that guy. Barnidge better than Tye, but with Ellison/Engram probably 1-2, it's not a large role. And my hope anyway is that Adams steps up and at least fills that role, as a solid blocker who maybe catches a few balls in odd situations.
I would think they could've gotten a draft pick for him. Then again, they have like 20 draft picks this year and next.
Now his 2015, that was a nice season (80 catches 1000 yards, 9 TD's).
major drop off last year.
sucks lol

Working with the QB's that he had, I'd say that was a nice season lol

Expected with that QB and OL
Doubt he would come to us, with our depth chart be this is the type of player Eli excels with.

(forgetting about yards) are like a slightly better Will Tye. Not really a "nice season".

Yeah, Manziel was the difference.
McCown and Kessler (and RG3) vs McCown and Manziel and Austin Davis.
Not sure the QB is to blame here.
They did lose a couple OL, no denying that though. Still don't think it explains everything, Pryor and Duke Johnson had better stats.
And Crowell turned into a beast running the ball in 2016 (and Duke improved too)
Haha. Post of the day stuff right there.
And Charlton is a Cowboy.
Off of the Feast $1 All Day menu?

bazinga!
Slade your credibility is about as good as Ranaan and Duggan.

He's not that good.
He can still play. Somebody is going to get a very good TE for a couple of years.
Can't have 'nuff TEs.

I instantly thought patriots myself when I heard the news ...

Pretty hard to blame any player on offense on that team for a drop off.
I would definitely bring him in depending on price. Absolutely. Turn a weakness for years into a huge strength
