NO way to much IMO. we could have moved up to top 10-15 by giving a first rounder next year...now its still the 33rd pick in draft. i wouldnt give that much
Eli drops back in the first preseason game and gets hurt and then we suck because we have Geno Smith and we are picking in the top 5 but have to give our pick away because we acquired a 2nd round pick this year?
are you fucking crazy? In the Landon Collins deal, Tennessee received New York's 40th overall pick along with Big Blue's fourth-round selection (No. 108) and this year's seventh-rounder (No. 245).
That's wayyyyy too much, especially in a draft that already overpaid for QBs and changed many teams expected picks.
If that continues we get about a 12-16 pick @23(55). If not we still get a 17-20 type pick there.
A la last year, if a guy they're hot for drops and/or is there within 4-5 slots, I think JR makes a move(4th + 6th do it).
A 2nd rounder this is worth a number 1 next year. This is a widely accepted convention. I think we are going to better next year than year. So, I think our pick will be late in the first round. Eli does not have many good years left. I could get Lamp with the 1st pick in the second and quality DT at 55. Our 3rd round picks have been awful. I think we could make a run at the SB with 33 and 55. Thes would be players that could contribute this year. Honestly I don't think it would enough to do the trade.
lol the stupidity.
