The H-Back Position was never taken over by any player. This guy fights for the ball, he is a tenacious Beast. I have to give the Giants credit on this choice.
Engram has to be described as Super H- Back. We all seem to have an issue with defining his title, in the traditional sense what a Tight End used to do. There is still room for the lumbering slow player who lays a block and we are surprised he can catch a pass. He is not a Tight End at all!
He is a new breed of Receiver who will play all pass catching formations. This is not a new development, However in this case the Giants may have drafted the ultimate player to do this. I would like to believe the Giants have what they have never had a superior SUPER H BACK.
Maybe its time for the true specialist at receiver positions. No left side receiver or slot guy .. but the BEST H-BACK. Who is the best H- Back in the NFL? Who owns it? Maybe it's Engram
Maybe he is the JPP of H-Backs lol)
Leader. Top tier kid and a tireless worker
Will be very successful in NY
The entire Travis Beckum things was very strange. At least Reese made up for it by drafting the JPP of tight ends.
Whatever he was a failed third round pick. 1000s failed before him and 1000s will fail after.
Effing TC probably made him get injured too...amirite?
When referring to a Giants player, makes me shudder in trepidation.
I don't want a mediocre blocker in the backfield: I want someone that can scare the crap out of the defense with pass catching (and maybe even his running ability)
