Giants have just Drafted the SUPER H- BACK

Elite Mobster #32 : 4/28/2017 5:19 pm
The H-Back Position was never taken over by any player. This guy fights for the ball, he is a tenacious Beast. I have to give the Giants credit on this choice.
Engram has to be described as Super H- Back. We all seem to have an issue with defining his title, in the traditional sense what a Tight End used to do. There is still room for the lumbering slow player who lays a block and we are surprised he can catch a pass. He is not a Tight End at all!

He is a new breed of Receiver who will play all pass catching formations. This is not a new development, However in this case the Giants may have drafted the ultimate player to do this. I would like to believe the Giants have what they have never had a superior SUPER H BACK.

Maybe its time for the true specialist at receiver positions. No left side receiver or slot guy .. but the BEST H-BACK. Who is the best H- Back in the NFL? Who owns it? Maybe it's Engram

Maybe he is the JPP of H-Backs lol)

Loved hearing that he went to his coaches

And demanded to learn all of the receiver positions on his team.

Leader. Top tier kid and a tireless worker

Will be very successful in NY
Just imagine the fun

if Engram becomes 1/2 the receiver OBJ is. (I think he will.)
Could be the Travis Beckham

We never had because he never stayed healthy and we never used him when he was

The entire Travis Beckum things was very strange. At least Reese made up for it by drafting the JPP of tight ends.
Beckum was half TC's fault

He never used him properly until towards the end, then the injuries came.
Maybe...

but he's no Bear Pascoe.
Beckum sucked

What's confusing about it? The giants didn't use him improperly the guy didn't have what it takes to survive the NFL. Don't over think it. When he wasn't hurt he wasn't any good. At least he made a play or two during the 2011 title season. I think he actually caught a few passes in the super bowl. Or maybe that was Jernigan.
Beckum caught 4 passes in the NFC title game two weeks earlier

He didn't catch a pass in the super bowl.

Whatever he was a failed third round pick. 1000s failed before him and 1000s will fail after.

When referring to a Giants player, makes me shudder in trepidation.

I don't want a mediocre blocker in the backfield: I want someone that can scare the crap out of the defense with pass catching (and maybe even his running ability)
