I think the Giants need to get on the phone

with Austin Paztor. I'm not going to fault the picks but we have to keep Eli upright.
Ol is going to hold this team back again

take it easy
Not one OL in this draft was going to start this year for the Giants.

Not sure why you thought otherwise.
I hadn't planned on a starter
SLIM_ : 4/28/2017 10:59 pm : link
but I was hoping for depth and someone to groom for next year when most of our line hits free agency.
is the Bucknell kid still around?
George from PA : 4/28/2017 11:06 pm : link

bs.
You can say that the first two picks are great but

Watch Lamp and Robinson start this year. And Bolles will too. And easily could have for the Giants.
There were probably a few OL
Cenotaph : 4/28/2017 11:51 pm : link
who would have helped this year - most likely at RT. But may not have been worth the value, would have certainly cost Enrgam pick. Our best chance has always been improvement from Flowers - but we could still add a OT in FA. Not that there's much left.

Agree OL may be a weak link, but our O was fine 2 years ago with arguably a worse OL than right now. I think Flowers will be better, or replaced by someone who will be better. Out interior OL should be solid. If Fluker/Hart can do something at RT (a lot of big ifs), we could have a decent OL. But I think they can play well enough for our O to be better than last years and very dangerous, with an improved running game keyed on better RB play.

I have been saying 5, 6 and 7 to get an extra 4th (hopefully in the first 10 of the rd somewhere).

Start and excel or just start because the Giants will trot 5 guys out there who will start this year as well
The OL played poorly
LakeGeorgeGiant : 4/29/2017 9:17 am : link
but I feel like BBI blows it way out of proportion. You guys are obsessed with the OL, even when it was serviceable draft day around here was all "Omg draft OL!!". Calm the fuck down.

Pugh needs to stay healthy.

Fluker should be a marginal upgrade.

Flowers needs to improve.

No More TEs

Give me a break....muscle and hustle is what we need...OL, DE, RB, CB....please don't wait and get Knappe in last round....UCONN wasn't great at protecting their QBs
