1. The draft is one big crap shoot and all teams are playing what THEY believe to be the best odds
2. Every year top picks fail and undrafted free agents become stars
3. Per the 'experts' 20 percent of the picks in the first 3 rounds were selected well before their 'value' point.
The only sure thing about the draft is that New England plays the table better than everyone else.
Bottom line ... enjoy this imaginary time while it lasts, because it's 3 weeks to the start of OTAs and a return to reality of finding out who can really play vs what we all think.
I like the rookie mini-camp because the UDFA's get a chance to make an impression too.
Still remember how the beat writers told us how much Eli Manning sucked after the mini-camp.
I think this one is more ball sucking than dick sucking.
