Summary: Fifth year senior that started all four years after his redshirt. Missed some time early in his career. Manned the left tackle spot and was named 1st Team All ACC in 2015 and 2016. Bisnowaty is an interesting case because he showed flashes of both top and bottom tier over the past two seasons. He passed a few of the eyeball tests weekly when it came to knee bend, aggression, and run blocking. However his up and down execution as a pass blocker gives off the notion he may be best suited inside in a zone blocking scheme at either guard or center. He has a style of play that could excel in that role.
*Early in the 2016 season, scouts were talking about Bisnowaty as being the top guy in this class. Potential top 10 overall type. Its easy to see why because of his easy movement out of his stance and ability to mirror a defender with excellent lower half balance and quickness. He did suffer an injury somewhere around the midpoint of the season that made his tape look weak in the second half, but even at full strength I never quite saw it from him. He didnt move guys. More of an absorber rather than an attacker. Too easily thrown around. Those things bother me as much as a guy with really slow feet. I think he may be best suited for backup swing duty.
with the trade up. Who cares about a seventh round pick? But I would have preferred using it on Knappe. Bisnowaty has reached his limit IMO. No real "upside." I don't think he can remain at LT in the NFL. Don't hate the pick. Just think we could have done better.
So UDFA begins right after the NFL's last draft pick?
was going one-on-one all game in his clip that was posted? Was it Pitt or WVa? I was thinking when watching the Moss clip (lengthy) that the OT looked pretty good, why not look at him?
would be beating down the Giants door for a chance to sign with a contender with a shitty OL. Hopefully, we can find a couple who were overlooked in the draft.
I could see him start down the road at LG, RG or RT.
But he was absolutely awful during Senior Bowl week. I mean AWFUL. That's why he wasn't on my list.
Honest question. WHY would that really matter? Shouldn't all his seasons of game tape tell the story?
For sure, but at the Senior Bowl, he was going against some of the best seniors in college football. It does matter. Dominating Joe Schmo is not as telling as dominating Dalvin Tomlinson or Jordan Willis.
and USA Today had him at 143 of their top 150 players
THR has him at #153.
It will be interesting to see who the Giants score in the UDFA market. There are still some interesting OL prospects to be had like Wheeler, McDermot, Collins, Levin, Rich, Ugokwe, and one of Dave Te's favorites, Andre "Don't Sleep On" Knappe.

Upside Pro Comparison: Justin Britt SEA
He was injured this year but was one of the top OL last year.
Can play LT but more likely a RT.
Great pick
The Giants gave up their seventh-round pick (241) in the trade up for Bisnowaty. So it appears their 2017 draft is done.
Fifth round pick in the sixth round
But he was absolutely awful during Senior Bowl week. I mean AWFUL. That's why he wasn't on my list.

Calls can be made, but you cannot sign anybody until draft ends
Yes, I think teams can call whenever they want, and start to do so when the seventh round starts.
Adam Bisnowaty said he can play tackle or guard. Also thinks he's a "nasty" payer. #Giants #NFLDraft

Bisnowaty said he plays nasty, wants to make his opponents quit. Music to the ears of McAdoo and Solari.
Adam Biz: "I'm a nasty football player. I get after people... I make sure the guy across from me wants to quit."

Biznasty?
Never. RT or G
Ideally we should sign Austin Pasztor
Hey, at least he didn't reach for a LB.
