Since the draft is now over, it's a BBI tradition that we have a thread that collects all the confirmed UDFA signees. This thread is not meant to be a wish list, but rather a running updated list of players signed- with validation with a link or twitter confirmation.
Things usually start picking up a couple hours after the draft, so figure around 7ish tonight we should get word of players who the Giants will be bringing in.
Idiots and Guns Do Not Mix - ( New Window )
Jones, Jarron DT 6'6" 316 Notre Dame 5.53
Buchanan, Collin OL 6'5" 316 Miami (OH) 5.51
Rudolph, Travis WR 6'0" 189 Florida St. 5.49
Scott, Artavis WR 5'10" 193 Clemson 5.47
Cox Jr., Bryan DE 6'3" 265 Florida 5.46
Dural, Travin WR 6'1" 202 LSU 5.46
Johnson, Jadar S 6'0" 206 Clemson 5.45
As CiP said, any of these players would have been a credible draft pick - especially with the seventh-round choice that the Giants gave up to get Bisnowaty. Among the other UDFA additions, Dunker was graded at 5.28, Wheeler at 5.0, Munson at 4.95. Obviously, none of this matter now. On to mini-camp!

Penn State DE-LB Evan Schwan to New York Giants on UDFA deal
Armando Bonheur @ArmandoBonheur
Time to go to work #Blessed
The above is an OL from Samford
So, it does look like we picked up 3 OL guys who might give us added depth and may even start: Nasty, Dunker, Wheeler
Haven't heard of anyone who hasn't been taken except for Will Likely III out of Maryland...and he's 5'7...and injured.
But other than that, he's awesome. Amazing athleticism.
And a couple of extra TEs. AMEN.
2. Travis Rudolph, WR, Florida State***
3. Keeon Johnson, WR, Virginia
4. Romond Deloatch, TE/DE, Temple
5. Collin Thompson, TE, Temple
6. Jessamen Dunker, OG, Middle Tennessee***
7. Chad Wheeler, OL, USC***
8. Armando Bonheur, OL, Samford
9. Sam Ekwonike, OL, Coastal Carolina
10. Jarron Jones, DT, Notre Dame***
11. Josh Banks, DT, Wake Forest
12. Evan Schwan, DE/OLB, Penn State
13. Calvin Munson, OLB, San Diego State
14. Jadar Johnson, S, Clemson***
I know, right? He ran a very slow 40 and should've gone back to school, but he would be a fantastic guy to develop. I love the player, the talent and the potential.
I follow OL guys very closely.

All kinds of red flags, from that link posted above,
guess that's why he went undrafted.
Top undrafted free agents following the 2017 NFL Draft - ( New Window )
This is true. However, they did bring in one vet- Blake- to provide some cushion. I was intrigued by Donte Deacon last camp, but he was not ready to play. I wonder whether a year on the practice squad has "gotten him over the hump" to being ready- or if he simply is just too small to play in the NFL.
Like the o and d line potential signings, hopefully we get some solid depth here and luck out with someone who can start.
Was hoping we would get more than one guy to push our LBs. With no one drafted and seemingly always the weakest link on defense, mildly disappointing.
What, Valentino Blake doesn't excite people, don't know
anything abut the guy. They can find a couple free agent
backups, they found Sensabaugh and Wade that way.
Wheeler needs strength training. He is definitely competing for a PS slot, not roster slot, in camp.

Spoke too soon on the lack of UDFA CB signings. Giants will sign Iowa State CB Nigel Tribune, per source.
For signees like Jones and Wheeler, who have battled injuries, or Johnson, Dunker and Rudolph, who need time in an NFL program, 2017 is likely a redshirt year anyway. It's better for the team if they don't earn a year of service while spending game day in street clothes.

This is a pretty good group.

We have planned a podcast for tomorrow to chat about the Giants' UDFAs with Dave Te and Sy'56
Perfectly respectable stuff there, even adjusting for typical pro-day distortion. He's not real big, but not particularly undersized either.

Jarron Jones, DT, Notre Dame
Travis Rudolph, WR, Florida State
all have good chance of roster spots
Most teams in this league don't have two legitimate starters.
Perspective.
A third name will go up on USCs All-American walk after this season, as Trojan left tackle Chad Wheeler was voted to the Campus Insiders All-American first team.
The All-American nod is the cherry on top of an exceptional redshirt senior season for Wheeler, who was also named to the All-Pac-12 first team and took home honors as one of USCs Linemen of the Year.
The left tackle protected Sam Darnolds blindside and helped the Trojans limit opposing teams to just 11 sacks on the season the best mark in the conference.

It was announced yesterday that he signed with the Panthers, but that isn't true.
