And I'm not impressed by what I've seen from Gallman. Best case, he's a journeyman. Not that quick, not that fast, not that elusive, not that powerful. Not a quick-twitch RB. No explosion.
He's like a B version of McCaffery. That being said, if we add him we may have the smallest RB corps in the league. Perkins, Gallman, Vereen and Harrington are all pretty small backs.
The Steelers grabbed him at the end of the 3rd round. His game seems just like Brandon Jacobs, so I'm disappointed he didn't fall to us. I wonder if we would have taken him in the 4th since we were thinking RB anyway?
Kid from Western Kentucky
1) had 2 seasons of 1000+ yards
2) averaged 6.8 yds/carry
3) averaged 2.08 TDs/game in 2016
4) averaged 0.91 TDs/game career
5) averaged over 4 rushing plays of 10+ yards/game in 2016
6) made 83% of third down attempts
7) made 83% of 3rd and 1-3 to go
I'd still sign Blount.
Perkins - Vereen - Blount - Gallman is a good group built to withstand the rigors of a 24 game season.
I know nothing about him, but he SOUNDS like a nice complement to Perkins..Stay tuned

You're saying we're a Wild Card weekend team?

Yeah, Muhammad would have been nice. Frankly, like him better than Gallman.
Vereen, Perkins, Draughn, and now Gallman. Not much more room.

draugn is not a guarantee for the roster

With Blount I think we have a very solid stable of RBs... Without him, on paper, we are bottom third of the league at the RB position. IMO
Perkins, Galman, Vereen, and Draughn are a start. Liked what I saw from PP.
Liked what I saw from Draughn too, with a poor team.
Lmao
Giants signed Shaun Draughn from the 49'ers . Isn't he the same age as Blount? 30?
Not sure the talent level available with the undrafted guys is any better than what we already have.
