Any news/info regarding Giants interest in bringing him back. Granted he isn't the greatest, but I thought he was serviceable for us last season. Wouldnt mind seeing him back on a one year deal and having him and Goodson compete for that starting spot.

he sucks. they like goodson...its his job IMO

As insurance, I guess he'd be OK.

A one-year qualifying deal basically costs the team nothing, except a spot on the expanded off-season roster. Robinson or Goodson might get hurt - or Goodson might flop - so another veteran option in the middle wouldn't be a terrible thing.

If the Giants can carry J.T. Thomas with a salary around $3MM, they have room for Kelvin Sheppard; but he would only make the team in a worst-case scenario.
