Remember how everyone was pleased "how well" the Giants linebackers performed last year?
Well, Harrison and Hankins kept other teams' blockers off of them. I doubt Bromley does that.
Quite frankly Eric I did not see any noticeable drop in production when Bromley or Thomas was in the game. Their jersey numbers are all so close, I couldn't tell who was who except Snacks because he was so much bigger.
This is not to put Hankins down, just that the other two DT's weren't that bad.
Somebody will step up. Someone always does and they won't cost $10mill/yr.
There was a twist of irony, when JR and Ross say we didn't want to 'reach' for any O Linemen...
and some of the Giant faithful have been calling him
Jerry Reach for years. I just found a bit of humor in it, that's all. I wouldn't say I totally agree with O'Hara either,
saying he would have drafted the kid Dawkins and the other kid in the second round over Thompson. They needed a DT more
than a guard who wasn't going to start in year one.
JR repeated history in this round, my prediction.
He may have a debate in the 3rd Rd. though.
I didn't have a problem with Webb after the pick, I also didn't think they wouldn't draft an OL until Rd. 6 either.
I thought that would be done after the Webb pick.

.
Their snaps were very limited, and Thomas only played about
half the games I believe. It's a bit misleading to say,
'I didn't see any noticeable drop in production'...
I hear what you are saying, but you have to put more into
perspective as well.
The crack about Eli "if he even suits up" is just odd.
.... Even with the big FA signings last year EVERYONE WITHIN THE MEDIA KILLED REESE for overpaying on these guys but then they all went on to be all pro players in year 1 and i dont think anyone critic went back and said "boy was I wrong" Think about it.. How many times in the histoy of the leauge has a GM signed three non all pro players that all went on to be all pros in year one.
Boy are you wrong. Admit it. Because you say so, doesn't make it true. You claim that the the big 3 FAs (OV, Snacks, Jackrabbit) weren't All Pro before signing, and in year 1, they were. Admit you are wrong. 2016 All Pro Team - ( New Window )
Another of BBI's elite who when proven wrong doesn't have the decency to admit their error.

Thank you. Their LBs are still just functional until proven otherwise
They're 4-3 linebackers. All they have to be is functional; and this group exceeds that benchmark a bit.
No, Maude, I did not like the Giants draft at all.

You just won BBI, as far as I'm concerned. Any Walter Findlay reference is gold to me.
And Bill Macy is still alive! (I hope I didn't just curse him.)
