After all its only been since 1960...
"I chose the Eagles," Blount said Thursday afternoon at the NovaCare Complex. "For a specific reason of ... Me fitting in really good here. The chance of making the team. Having a championship run. Having a better season. They're a really good team. They were a really good team before I came here."
"I think every team is trying to win championships," Blount said. "No team is going out there expecting to not win. I think every team is expecting to win. You build the team around players who you know who will help you do that. Carson is one of the type of players you want to build around. I think they're trying to win now. For sure."

With the Giants, he's in more of a passing offense and may have gotten less dollars.
End of the day, he's not going to say that publicly though.
perfect
Yes, there is
It's almost always this. Even in the NBA. Nobody takes big pay cuts for
Championships. And he just left NE. Does anyone think the Eagles are close? He starting smoking weed again.
Honestly in recent SB's did not think we would win SB42, which is the reason I bought the conference championship hat, didn't for SB46 because I expected to win. Its the reason they play the games.
Last season thought we blew a real chance to win it all.
I learned never to count anyone out until the scoreboard says so.
Nothing to see here, except perhaps that the Giants like their current RBs...
hehehe
I guess ades to Marshall/Engram inside the 5 will have to do.
I agree and don't blame players for that. For a quote:
"It's about the money. And when they say it's not about the money, then it is definitely about the money." - George Young
And he's already won championships. He has nothing to prove. He might as well cash in.
I think it's partly that and partly the league doesn't value running backs. But, he has rushed for 5 or more TDs six times in seven seasons. I was just surprised his highest paid season was 1.8 mill given how long he's been around.
This team was playing well until Lane Johnson got hurt. CArson should be 100% improved, they've brought in receivers and cornerbacks - the two perceived areas of weakness.
I agree with the folks who know the most about the team...a very competent front office and coaching staff.
The Eagles, maybe even more than the Cowboys, are going to be scary tough and genuine contenders.
And given that the Blount signing is twice signicant.

I agree. But I question the competence. They brought in a ton of vets on 1 year deals. Wentz is only a sophomore. What's their rush to go all in now? It seems like they could have spent resources a little more frugally and planned for the long term.
prone, before he arrived in Philly. I thought it was strange
a couple years back, they signed D. Murray and also brought
in Matthews at the same time. Look, I would have been okay
if the Giants signed Blount to a one year deal.
With that said, he only seems to play well for
BB and the Pats!
We'll see how this works out for Philly. I do think Philly will be improved this year however.

As the kids would say ...
HYPED IT!!!
2. He had a very good rookie season.
3. Everything in between? He's been just "all right."
4. He is 30. He will turn 31 during the season.
5. Belichick did not want to bring him back.
6. His issues.
7. Philly can have him.
