Should be fun.
Yeah it was a different story. Vargas had the wake up call against a team that had scored the most runs to this point in the season. As a matter of fact Hamel faired better then Vargas. I believe the term this jackass used to describe Hamel was tomato can. I think Vargas looked more like the so called tomato can then Hamel.
Joe has been giving his outfielders days off on a schedule and it's Gardy's turn, no big deal.
Trying to decipher Didi Gregorius’ post-victory tweets - ( New Window )
Agree. Never thought he was worth a shit.
Shut the fuck up.
Burkhart is like listening to a nails on chalkboard. Never shuts up.
His quadruple chins and jabba the hutt body and horrific ability to call professional baseball should be first and foremost!
He's an American treasure. Cuntry Joe.
He just made 1 bad pitch to Moustakas with 2 on. Don't think he pitched that badly aside from that

Doesn't look like I missed too much. What was up with Monty tonight?

thanks - I guess it's not going to go in a straight line for a rookie pitcher.
but I read on BBI that the Yanks are doomed if they didn't sweep KC!
Up 1.5 on the division - 2.5 would have been nice but still in good shape - on to Tampa ...
Warts and all, there's absolutely no denying he isn't/wasn't talented (supremely)/smart

Montgomery and Severino (and maybe in July, Adams) are going to have stretches where they will look like front-of-the-rotation guys- and then have stretches that make you wonder if their next start will be in SWB.
Such is life with rookie SP. On the other hand, I prefer going with the young SP because you can see the upsdie and know they will be even better in the future- where with guys like CC, you know what they were and they are now just a shadow of that- which is even more frustrating than dealing with the ups and downs of young SP.
