2018, maybe. Heck, if he won the LT job in 2018 (he isn't strong enough for 2017, I just don't see it) based on ability we'd be set. But I still hold out hope Flowers improves a ton this year and shows us why he was an early first round pick.
If he starts at LT

This place will be a mad house because our record will be 2-14.

Right Tackle, you imgrate. Try to keep up.
How cool it would be after all hand-wringing over
Big Blue '56 : 5/19/2017 10:01 am : link
not (at present) having a high OL draft choice performing at a high level, if AB became a quality, Diehl-like(or better) starter..
Flowers
BlueManCrew : 5/19/2017 10:06 am : link
Is still in the game. He's still so young hopefully he'll start turning the corner this year. Hard to believe bisnowaty is actually 6 months older than flowers. Feels like he's been in the league forever.
Until it happens,
Doomster : 5/19/2017 10:07 am : link
it hasn't happened....

Flowers not only seems to get worse...he gets younger too

:-)
I know that the chances are slim
Jay on the Island : 5/19/2017 10:21 am : link
but it would incredible if either Wheeler or Bisnowaty are the starting LT or RT in a year. Wheeler has a better chance if he can stay healthy. I know Dunker is currently listed as a RT but I hope that he moves to G soon. His athleticism would make for a very solid LG.
too much hype guys
Rory : 5/19/2017 10:29 am : link
not saying he wont be a productive player but you are all setting yourself up for disappointment later.

Everyone on this site does this all the time and then bitches and gets all disgruntled with each other later when they hype is not met

Let the guy get in the training camp first and then lets see what happens.

Save us all from the whining later
It's reminiscient of 2002

The Giants offensive line had 3 UDFA's, a 5th round pick, and a 1st round pick starting. A future line of Wheeler, Dunker, Richburg, Bisnowaty and Flowers would be great for the cap.

You're right I have serious doubts that Bisnowaty could remain at LT. His trouble with speed likely limits him to RT or G.
Again. For the ump-teenth time.

Interesting: a 3rd year player is younger than a rookie draft pick, and by six months! I just hope Bisnowaty can play in this league. If he starts at ANY position and excels I'd be ecstatic. But some writings suggest he struggles with speed and if that is the case he isn't making it at LT in this league.
However, just for kicks....if Bisnowaty, Wheeler and Bunker are
SGMen : 5/19/2017 11:45 am : link
all starters next year man OH man would we be in cap heaven. LOL.
Great for the Cap? Maybe
Carl in CT : 5/19/2017 11:57 am : link
Shitty for our run game, passing offense, hell shitty for the whole team pal.

I'm of course assuming they can actually play. Realistically, I had considered whether the Giants couldn't possibly plug Fluker at LG and move Peitgout back to RT. I'm guessing not but if you have talent at OG but suck super bad at RT why not make the move?

I realize there is about a 1% chance of it happening I was just throwing out hypotheticals.

When did Reese ever say that?
I am of the opinion
grizz299 : 5/20/2017 4:53 pm : link
that Reese's failures in late to middle rounds with offensive lineaen are as much the result of happenstance as anything else.
The odds are long, probably 1 out of 10 (that's just a rough estimate). Maybe it's time for an evening out / a balancing and maybe now we hit on a couple in row...

Taylor Lewan of the Titans sucked to the point of being benched in year #2. Last year, #3, he went to the Pro Bowl!
prefer RT
msh : 5/23/2017 7:45 am : link
flowers improves as he now has a threat to his LT job,if pugh and richburg can stay healthy thats an improvement over last year, fluker pushes jerry to backup and either hart improves or bisnasty takes the RT job this line could improve in a hurry
