The show stars, is written, created (and I believe) directed by, Hank Azaria (most notably from the Simpsons) and co-stars Amanda Peet.
Here is the synopsis:
A famed major league baseball announcer who suffers an embarrassing and very public meltdown live on the air after discovering his beloved wife's serial infidelity decides to reclaim his career and love life in a small town a decade later.
The show is hilarious. It is on IFC. Cameo's by tons of sports people.
They just aired Episode 8 and featured this gem from Joe Buck:
"I was born in Florida. Of course I've had a finger in my ass."
If that line isn't enough to draw you in, the show is probably not for you.
I've always been a Hank Azaria fan. But I'm disappointed that Amanda Peet's prior show "Togetherness" on HBO got cancelled.
