Wow I was reading about the whole deal with her and Lavar Ball but who cares about that because wow! What a beautiful woman. I see now how Collin Cowherd gets his ratings and I plan to start watching on mute now. You gotta give it up for Fox to find these gals.

She's on Instagram too. Hopefully this Lavar Ball story will help her move up in her career and onto the NFL sidelines.

I don't know.

As much of a blowhard as Ball has proven to be, I didn't think the exchange came off all that great for her.

She seemed ... dare I say ... "millennial" in her behavior. lol (Frankly, reminded me of my 16-year-old daughter during one of her bratty moments.

But sure. She's beautiful. :)

is a self-aggrandizing, rude, arrogant, piece of shit. He's capitalizing off of the "say a bunch of outlandish shit" and let people eat it up.

He was a guest on their show and totally dismissed her in a condescending and rude way. I hope his company fails so hard.

I also hope Lonzo gets drafted by a team not in LA that has a lot of white players so Ball can make his bullshit racist comments about them again.

How many shoes his company sold? Jeebus.

Can you imagine the CEO of a corporation acting the way Ball did with a female reporter on CNBC or Fox Business?
He was a complete asshole. Inappropriate and unprofessional.
Beezer : 5/19/2017 12:46 pm : link
But I simply didn't think she handled it as well as she could have. Thought she handled it slightly on an immature side of the meter. That's all.

Stay in your lane? I don't blame her at all for her reaction.

She made an insinuation prior that he abuses his children.
Beezer I don't know what you were watching
Stu11 : 5/19/2017 2:47 pm : link
I just watched every clip. The whole exchange and her reaction afterwards. How did she handle that immaturely? The clown sat there with his back to her and wouldn't even look at her. He was acting so bizarrely and making comments out of left field that were in some kind of code that only he understood. I thought she handled it as well as anyone could have handled it. If Cowherd ever has him on again that would be a disgrace. Try having a debate with someone who is making no coherent sense whatsoever. Its one of the more difficult things to do.
Stu, I guess I'd have preferred for HER sake
Beezer : 5/19/2017 2:53 pm : link
that she ignored him. Her sitting there continuing to respond an d chatter with a colossal asshole like that ... I felt like she went to his level, and should have just stayed out of it. Some (maybe you) disagree and think she should have "fought back." I think it would have come off better if she just let him go. He's a blowhard bully and sometimes it's all right to let them burn themselves out. I'm hoping members of the media tire quickly of the novelty of this jamoke. They just keep giving him a mouthpiece. If they ignore him, it's as if he's not there.

At the draft? Don't show him. Don't interview him. Go bare minimum on his son hen he gets picked. They (media) are getting played and it bugs the shit out of me.
In particular, the "are you threatening me?" piece ...
Beezer : 5/19/2017 2:55 pm : link
He wasn't threatening her.

Cowherd is an asshole and even more so for not stepping in when Ball was being a fucking asshole to his co-host.

He just sat there and allowed it to happen.

If I were Leahy, I'd be as upset with Cowherd as I would have been with Ball.

Cowherd let it go for ratings. "Radio gold," as they say, is more important than professional integrity. Everybody getting Ball in studio to hitch on to the media cycle of the day.

Maddening.
Beez, this was the worst thing Lavar's ever said
David in LA : 5/19/2017 2:57 pm : link

“Kyrie, he’s in a different situation. So you can’t put yourself in the same situation as Lonzo,” Ball said. “I have a wife and two other sons. You not in that situation, his was different. Now, he couldn’t wait to break away from his dad. Why? Because you guys was needy back then. My boy’s not needy, he does whatever he wants. Just like I do whatever I want.

“So you can’t put yourself in that situation and say, ‘Oh, from my experience.’ Maybe he didn’t have the relationship that me and ‘Zo got. I don’t think he did. First of all, your mom wasn’t there. Something’s got to change right there, it’s not the same.

“Lonzo can come home and see his mom and dad all the time. Most people, with his talent, usually has a single parent. Not two of them together and be involved.”

Keep in mind that Kyrie's mother died when he was 4 with an illness. Fuck this asshole.
Lavar Ball acted like a child that whole interview.
732NYG : 5/19/2017 3:01 pm : link
Stay in your lane? Not even facing her? Seriously, fuck that guy.

I agree. Fuck him.
Beezer : 5/19/2017 3:04 pm : link

But more specifically, Colin, stop putting him on your show where your relatively inexperienced co-host has to deal with his shit, and you just sit there and allow it. Ridiculous.
yea Beez we can agree to disagree
Stu11 : 5/19/2017 3:05 pm : link
I thought she had to engage at some level, I feel she let it go pretty quickly, and didn't engage too much. Getting nuts about him "threatening" her was a little much as he wasn't. The guy is a douche. I would love nothing better than to see the Lakers pass on him.
Lavar is an asshole.
therealmf : 5/19/2017 3:06 pm : link
She and Cowherd knew that. They wanted the show he gave. For her to say she was insulted is disingenuous. Don't invite an idiot on to your show then complain he said idiotic things. It's what they hoped he would do.
I'd love to see a scenario I heard this morning
Beezer : 5/19/2017 3:08 pm : link
in passing ... Celtics/Utah do a sign-and-trade with Thomas and Hayward, and the Celtics then take Ball.

Lonzo in Boston ... with Hayward ... bahahahahaha ... would be fun viewing.
I bet

What did she say? Serious question, not snarky.

She also made a comment about how odd all three sons are playing basketball. Saying that must mean he is forcing them to play and shows that the kids are afraid of him. Wonder if she heard of Archie Manning.

Realmfer, I have hesitations about making comments
David in LA : 5/19/2017 3:35 pm : link
on someone's kids, but they do seem so timid to the point that I don't know much about their personality. There's a Joe Jackson vibe I'm getting from the dad, with being so hands on, overbearing, it wouldn't surprise me at all if he bullies them. The guy wouldn't let his kids see their mom, who has a terminal illness, because he thought it would be a distraction while they need to focus on hoops. I never got that overbearing vibe from Archie. He never forced his kids to play or was so involved that he would usurp coaches, etc.

You may well be right. It wasn't my intent to defend Lavar with Archie. I have not read up on him enough to draw any conclusion about how he raised his kids. All I meant was that when she said it I thought immediately of Archie and thought that argument, on its own, didn't carry weight.

it's not like they need completely different sneakers to tailor to women. It's pretty much unisex, the only difference are in the sizes.
