He was a guest on their show and totally dismissed her in a condescending and rude way. I hope his company fails so hard.

I just watched every clip. The whole exchange and her reaction afterwards. How did she handle that immaturely? The clown sat there with his back to her and wouldn't even look at her. He was acting so bizarrely and making comments out of left field that were in some kind of code that only he understood. I thought she handled it as well as anyone could have handled it. There's a Joe Jackson vibe I'm getting from the dad, with being so hands on, overbearing, it wouldn't surprise me at all if he bullies them. The guy wouldn't let his kids see their mom, who has a terminal illness, because he thought it would be a distraction while they need to focus on hoops. I never got that overbearing vibe from Archie. He never forced his kids to play or was so involved that he would usurp coaches, etc.

You may well be right. It wasn't my intent to defend Lavar with Archie. I have not read up on him enough to draw any conclusion about how he raised his kids. All I meant was that when she said it I thought immediately of Archie and thought that argument, on its own, didn't carry weight.
