Jake looks good hope he can give a really positive outing.
Bruce appears to be in one of his epic slumps. I think he was 2 for 20 or so on the road trip and a quick o for 2 tonight.
I'll be one of them
:)
You're probably right. lol. Once things settle down Im sure Ill ease back in. haha. And thanks man!
And Conforto goes BOOM!
He's got a bit of a funky delivery too. I like him. Now please God get Edgin and Montero out of the pen and call up Smoker again.
Neil Ramirez has me slightly intrigued. He's still young, throws hard, and has a nice k/9. Not saying he'll be great but he's worth trying at least.
This season has fucking sucked so far, but god damn.. Conforto is for real. If Rosario winds up being as good as he looks like he can be right now and Dom Smith pans out... those 3 guys are going to be a fun nucleus to watch to go along with Cespedes (if he can just fucking stay healthy)
Would be amazing if Matz and Lugo could avoid hitting the DL again when they come back - but of course, I can't do anything but expect that they will.
In any event, Backman was a loon anyway.
I don't think it's impossible that an infield of Rivera, Flores, Rosario and Smith, along with a healthier pitching staff, lead us on a wild card run.
It was a beautiful day at the park for me. Except the score. The weather was perfect for baseball
Matz and Lugo cannot come soon enough
Lol
