If cavs and warriors both sweep, both series would be over by Tuesday. Would the NBA really wait 9 days to start the finals on Thursday June 1st for game 1
Most of the time but holy farts on a cracker, that was Jordanesque if ever anyone was. It's hard to extrapolate one game in the finals to what's to come, but Golden State had better be ready, LeBron is not fucking around. He is willing this team to greatness, and I don't see anyone stopping him, especially the soft gutless Warriors.
think about Jordan in a revisionist light. It's difficult to, and some are unwilling to, separate the legend from the reality.
He did miss big shots, he did lose playoff games, he did have flaws, he was criticized during his career, and comparatively, Lebron does things on a basketball court Michael Jordan wasn't physically capable of. The argument is there to be had but you have to approach it honestly to have it.
smaller every day and right now it's almost trivial.
The same way I feel blessed to have seen Pete Sampras and Roger Federer at their respective peaks, I'm glad I've gotten to see the entirety of LeBron's career and a good deal of MJ's second act greatness. That the MJ-LeBron debate (unlike Kobe-MJ) is a legitimate one is a blessing for every basketball fan.
This Cavs team finally looks like they are benefiting from having too tier talent surrounding James.
Their spacing on offense is just stupid good. They have so much speed and shooting, they legitimately start their half court offense at the half court line and score at the rim with one pass.
Hope they destroy the Warriors (or beat them by one point in game 7)
Anyone who tries to argue Jordan is either a senior citizen or a hater.
Your name does you justice. Now some may enjoy the spectacle of a guy tucking the ball under his arm and running over the opposition, pushing aside defenders, breaking up passes by knocking the opponent down. Most call that the NFL. Lebron fanboys call it basketball.
I cannot believe the NBA discussion on talk radio these days. It's absurd - I ageee with lebatard if I didn't tell you who it was it wouldn't be a discussion based on stats alone.
Lebron is a physical specimen like we've never seen before.
Combine that with his work ethic and mental approach and he's clearly the best player of this era. Jordan was the best player of his era. Sometimes it's hard to compare guys across eras because the games are so different. I'm still taking Jordan, but like someone else said, the gap seems to be closing.
Lebron is playing with an intensity right now that I feel like Jordan played with every single night, regular season included.
I am looking forward to the series though. Not since Larry Bird's Celtics vs. Magic Johnson's Lakers have I been this excited about the NBA championship.
Will destroy the Warriors 4-1. Cavs have the best offense, Defense and better bench. LeBron will win the next 3 championships.
Best defense? .... since when? I know the playoffs are an entire different season but the Cavs had one of the worst defenses in the NBA going into the playoffs. Their critics pointed this out going into the playoffs as a reason why they might not repeat.

Cavs Have the best defense in the playoff according to my extensive research. Watch what the Cavs defense does to golden state.

Youre just not a smart person. All of LeBron's greatness does not stop Jordan's fade away. All of his dribbling probably gets his pocket picked at peast a few times again by Jordan. All of his attempts at blocking Jordan at the rim are met with under hand lay ups and fouls drawn.
Jordan cant be covered. LeBron can. Or at the very least, force him into shooting a lot of jumpers.
Celtics are playing him all wrong pressuring him out on the perimeter. Let him jack shots up. Make everybody else beat you.
Haha, riiiiight
I'm 31 years old and think LeBron is an all time great. I'll still gladly take Jordan over LeBron.

I agree tho, why even bring up Jordan? They aren't even close in similarities. And Jordan never had to do as much as lebron does.
Lebron is an anomaly. What he does isn't really possible. Guy must have been developed in a lab.

God I hate the NBA.
Fouls drawn? You mean, LeBron would be routinely called for fouls in that scenario? I guess it's possible, but I wouldn't bet any money on it.
Why argue with someone who ends his post with "I hate the NBA"?
Good stuff.
