• Rookie tight end Evan Engram caught his first pass when he got a step on a defender and made a nice jumping grab in the middle of the field on a pass from Josh Johnson. As has been discussed since Engram was drafted, the rookie lined up all over the field.
Hmmm thought that would take time, is that asking a rookie to understand TE, slot, WR, H'back on the first day of camp?
I'm not surprised. You try him all over and see where he does best and where he needs work. Engram is a total weapon due to his speed & quickness. We can really use a rookie coming out party on par with OBJ's (ok, just a great rookie year not a sick great one would be fine..LOL). He is a mismatch for LB's and most safeties.
not be totally pumped to see Brandon Marshall in a Giants uniform?! Just that half minute seeing him made me excited to think what Eli and he will be able to accomplish together.
You have to think Eli's excited about Marshall for sure Â
And I also loved seeing Engram's excitement and desire to learn:
Quote:
“I love [the offense],” Engram said at rookie minicamp. “Especially my position, the Y and U, how much we move around and stuff, puts the defense in binds, finding holes in the defense. It's a great offense, it’s a lot, but I can't wait to really learn it.

Brandon Marshall is going to absolutely SHINE for us this year. He will draw the #2 CB and have single coverage due to OBJ. TE Engram will also be hard to cover giving us multiple options every snap. Look for Marshall to have a big year at age 33, especially in the redzone where we really need him and his skill set.
Saw a 3 man right side of Richburg, Fluker at RG and Bisnowaty at RT
I would feel much better about the offensive line if Fluker wins the RG job and Bisnowaty the RT. It would be great if both earned it and didn't win the spots by default.

I would like that too. Plus it would give us needed depth.

Fluker winning the RG job would not totally surprise me. Bisnotway winning RT would surprise me but only because he is a rookie. If Bisnotway does beat out Hart, it likely will have more to do with Hart really sucking than Bisnotway really impressing.

This is (yawn) material. Every team in the league, Browns included, will engage in unbridled OTA euphoria, unless somebody significant sustains a serious injury.
When the opposition starts game-planning against what you have and do, then we will see how good the Giants are. I'm generally optimistic about their chances. They have rebuilt the roster so that it is playoff caliber. The questions lie with the Q & oline. Those don't begin to be answered until opening night in Big D.

I think that if Hart does play poorly and Bisnowaty struggles at RT then the Giants will likely move Fluker to RT and Jerry to RG. Fluker and Jerry are complete opposite players. Fluker would improve the run game since he is a much better run blocker than pass protector.
If that translates to the season we will be a force to be reckoned with.

This is going to be a fun team to watch this year.
