NGT: Jerry Jones ethics violations on gift to cops

So not familiar with this law for public servants but my question is does this apply to teachers also as far as receiving a gift like this?

someone wants to be a prick. Emergency workers get free shit all the time.

It is stresses that if you ever ask for anything, you're done for.

Monetary gifts are donated to the department or organization as a whole.

On any given sunday around the NFL, groups are given the same treatment. Maybe not to that extent,but it happens.

- think about it -- public employees are already paid with tax revenues -- getting gifts - makes it look like pay to play

and we're expected to report everything, and there's a $100 limit on a gift.

As a consultant, all of the large firms I've contracted with have a strict no gifts policy. For example, I cannot purchase lunch for a co-worker who is an employee of the company.

I cannot accept any gift over $20.00 in value and must report any gift of any value.
